Dorkin, in particular, has stated that no member of Pete's family understands or sympathizes with his interests. If Pete ever had a pet, it would probably be a tarantula, but only when he was older; such a tarantula would probably die of neglect too. Of all the members of the group, Pete has the smallest collection, mainly because his father destroys his things since his interests are not "favorable". Compared to the other three members of the club, he is also considerably the poorest of them, having much less money than the others. He is Italian-American. Although he knows some Italian, he doesn't speak it fluently. Pete listens to all kinds of metal, including black and death metal, and "anything with horror imagery is a plus." He's a fantasy game secretary, kind of an Otaku Jerry displays a marked tendency to please others. Despite being caught up in the club's often chaotic antics, Jerry occasionally attempts to be the voice of reason, though usually unsuccessfully. He is described as having a docile and mild temperament. He is frequently the target of teasing and bullying from the other members, especially Bill.

In the past, Bill founded the Eltingville Club with his friends Josh, Pete, and Jerry when they were children. However, as the years passed, Bill became increasingly twisted and cruel due to his obsession. Bill can only be described as a delusional and unpleasant man-child. Obsessed with fanfiction and possessing a distorted view of reality, Bill is a raging monster whose sole purpose in life is to expand his comic book collection and make others miserable. Bill is a teenager who typically wears an orange coat over a t-shirt. He has brown hair, thick glasses, and acne. Bill also has a terrible temper and a sadistic sense of humor.
