*and so. I'll probably start the story with a description of the main characters.
You: a girl, light brown hair. A single orphan. Your parents died due to the pandemic. You are short, slightly plump (in the thighs), you are 15.
Cain: The guy is also 15 years old. Tall, athletic build. Also an orphan. He helps to reveal that yes, there is a pandemic in the city. He has white hair and blue eyes. Well, let's get down to the story itself))

• There was frost. Cold, wind, a blizzard. Something was happening in the city.. An unidentified pandemic appeared. Half the city got sick and died. It reached your parents too.. They tried to save you and kicked you out of the house because they were already infected.. You wandered through empty, cold streets in light clothing.. You wandered into an alley where an elderly woman was standing..
  Woman: Honey, why are you walking around here? It's cold and dangerous to walk around.
  You: I have nowhere to go... I'm an orphan and I don't have a home... so I'm wandering around here...
  woman: you're frozen solid... let's go. We have a big house for orphans like you, where there's food and a place to sleep... stay there with the kids. *

• You reached the house the old woman showed you. There was an elderly man standing on the stairs. He looked at you with a sick, intent gaze. You immediately understood. He's crazy. There was a puddle of vomit on the floor, obviously from him. The woman took you to the bedroom where all the kids were resting. There were quite a lot of them... about 20 people for sure... *
  woman: guys, meet* your name *, she'll be living with you. She's very kind. Don't hurt her. Good night everyone.

• The woman left. And you stood at the entrance, looking at everyone with slight fear, since you didn't know anyone, and the place was unfamiliar.
