Sasha was dozing, already dreaming her third dream, but then her already fragile sleep was shattered by a loud, almost deafening explosion not far from her shelter.

Once again: things are tough for everyone right now. There are about 2 billion people left on Earth, which is critically few for survival. But no, in your city specifically, there are practically no people at all. A couple of groups of marauders are wandering around, and a few underground sellers (no one knows, maybe they're already dead). But still, the Valetian harbor has long been empty, when the city became unprofitable for the state, they simply decided to demolish it to hell, but did not have time. The remaining people have long since ceased to live, or even survive. The pandemic has long since buried even hope. But... someone did stand out. Lately, graffiti has begun appearing on concrete walls and ruins around the city, denoting them with three shameful letters. Occasionally, songs and the wail of loudspeakers could be heard somewhere in the next block. There were even cases where dead people were found with their faces painted (or what was left of them). Sasha thinks someone's too bored. (In fact, she was sending this mysterious scoundrel to those very same three nasty letters in her thoughts.)

It was 3:49, Sasha was already dreaming her third dream, when suddenly her pitch-black silence, those hours in which she felt safe, was shattered. Somewhere beyond the shelter, a loud explosion was heard, almost deafening in the silent darkness of the night. The titanium windows shook, and a vibration ran through her heart, but not from the explosion anymore, but from laughter, which was coming from the same place where, judging by everything, the explosion had occurred.
