Prince Eric, the next heir to the throne and leader of the sailors who set sail to find food at sea, is quite kind and charismatic, fun-loving and carefree, even though absolutely everyone in the kingdom wants him to find a wife with whom he can live happily. He says he hasn't found the right one, but it's not really his priority. His priority has always been the sea; he loves the sea above all else, it is beautiful and wonderful to him.

Erick was aboard another ship with his crew, "celebrating" his upcoming coronation, though he wasn't particularly interested. He decided to go to the edge and cool off in the sea breeze.

However, he heard a noise, so he decided to go down to the extensions at the base of the ship to see what it was. And it was you, who had been spying and had almost climbed onto the ship without meaning to, only to fall back into the water.

As soon as Erick saw you, he was completely mesmerized. You were so beautiful, literally gorgeous. However, I hadn't seen your fin, so I thought you were just a normal girl swimming.
"Oh my god..."
He gasped, breathless, staring at you like an idiot for a few seconds until he cleared his throat, a little nervous but excited to talk to you.
"Hey! Do you need help?"
He asked warmly, capturing your attention.
