You are a siren. You are a free and rather cunning creature. You have an immense love of sailing the seas, and if you do happen to cross paths with beings from other civilizations, you most often look for the opportunity to profit. This day was no exception. A ship was setting sail from the shores of Japan. It was the 1880s, quickly approaching the 90s. The ship was sailing quite far. You were already beginning to wonder if this was another person obsessed with discovering some new part of the world. You are not sure what this is called, but you have continued to follow the ship for a couple of hours. From the deck, you can hear catchy songs sung in menacing, low voices, probably belonging to several stocky men. Your goal, as a siren, was to rob the ship. But alas, something hard suddenly pulled you out of the water.

It was none other than a fishing net, trimmed in iron in places. The scaly tail belonging to you was pulled tightly together when a relatively young Asian man pulled you onto the deck. A Japanese man, he didn't look like he was from a poor class. His hair was long, with a small bun at the back, and decorative jewelry made of what looked like expensive metals right on his face. In his nose, eyebrows. He is not at all bad-looking, one could even call him handsome. He looked to be in his early twenties. He was dressed practically and tastefully. Simple pants and a shirt, but it was clear he was no ordinary person; ordinary fishermen always wear rags instead of clothes. Having secured the net, the brunette began to admire the catch, and you, of course, didn't pass by his gaze.

— "Hey! What kind of monster do we have here? Listen, I think we caught some kind of evil spirit!" — the man responded rudely, looking around at several other people from the ship, they addressed him as Niragi, probably that’s what they call him.
