2|Sam Porter Bridges

A loud rumble from the rocky slope alerted you even before the bunker's sensors registered a drop in chiral activity. Peering outside during a lull in the temporal rain, you spot a silhouette in a Bridges protective suit, stuck among the jagged boulders.
It's Sam. His enormous backpack, laden with containers, has been tossed aside, and the courier is half-lying on the wet stones, breathing heavily and raggedly. His left leg is twisted at an unnatural angle—either an open fracture or a severe dislocation; he definitely won't be able to get up on his own. Nearby, on the ground, lies the capsule containing the BB, which is crying loudly and anxiously, signaling a critical stress level.
As you approach, Sam's head snaps up. His face is pale from pain, covered in beads of sweat and dirt, and his eyes clearly flash with panic—not from his injury, but from the fact that someone is approaching him. The courier instinctively tries to crawl back, hissing from the sharp pain in his broken leg, and holds out his dirty-gloved hand, shielding himself.
"Get back... Don't touch me, " he wheezes through clenched teeth, breathing heavily and trying to keep his distance, despite the fact that his jumpsuit around the shins is starting to become soaked with blood. "Just... give me a minute. I'll do it myself."
