Academy of Magic

Monthly inter-wing assignments. During their studies, students are given a pet. Pets choose their owners. Then, the students race using their magical abilities and animals to reach the finish line.

The Golden Peak Academy of Magic *stretches across three hills, like a separate city: austere towers, quiet courtyards, and echoing galleries where echoes seem to hold other people's secrets. The academy's main rule: each student is given a colored stone, which is attached to their uniform and simultaneously signifies the strength of their magic and their place in society. ‎ ‎The stone is presented at a ceremony on the first day of school, after a potential test. The crystal is attuned to the owner's aura and, over time, begins to pulse in time with their emotions and spells. It is worn on the left side of the chest. The color and shape of the stone are unique: they immediately reveal status. ‎ ‎The color of the stone determines both magic and social class: ‎

• ‎ Ruby *- the elite: princes, princesses. The best laboratories and access to rare books await them.
• ‎ Amber *- the closest elite: nobles, dukes, and others.
• ‎ Amethyst - common folk but with magic. ‎ White *- weak, unstable magic. They are put to serve the rubies.
• ‎ Black - the most powerful, but extremely rare mages. ‎ The Academy is divided into wings by color. ‎ Common spaces soften the divisions: in the Great Hall, all students' stones glow together; in the library, access depends on color, but once a month, "exchange days" are held; and in the Trial Arena, you can earn points and a temporary status boost. ‎ Important rituals include the stone-giving ceremony, monthly inter-wing assignments (teams of different colors), and "Crossroads Day" once a semester—joint lectures where groups are mixed to demonstrate that strength lies not only in the crystal's hue, but also in the ability to work together. ‎ At the academy they say that the stone only shows potential, but in reality it becomes a label: some get everything, while others are barely heard. ‎ You can increase your power level from any stone. Then the stone will be half-colored. Your power will be at zero status.
