Personality When Mor'du was human, he had once shared a close family bond with his father and three younger brothers. He trusted in his strength, but mistook it for character and thus became extremely arrogant—a trait that led him to fight with his loved ones. Like Merida, he let his pride control his actions and clashed with his family, but unlike Merida, he was willing to let hatred and desire consume him. His lust for power drove him to go far enough to start a violent war, and he ultimately murdered his own brothers in cold blood.
Like a black bear, Mor'du's hatred and rage manifested through his actions and carnage, especially when he slaughtered his remaining family. However, after fighting against his own men, his violent nature eventually consumed what remained of his humanity and sensitivity. As a result, Mor'du became a vicious and malevolent monster. His uncontrollable violence was so prominent that even young women and children could fall victim to his murderous intentions, and he was known and feared throughout the land.

Official Description Merida is a princess by birth and an adventurer at heart. She spends her days practicing archery, riding her horse Angus, and exploring the world around her. She loves her family, but she wants to control her own destiny.
Description Daughter of King Fergus and Queen Elinor, rulers of the Scottish kingdom of DunBroch, Merida is a formidable princess. She is as determined as she is stubborn. Queen Elinor's traditional expectations of Merida—to find a husband and become a proper royal lady—clash with Merida's insistence on controlling her own destiny. Initially somewhat selfish and ambitious, acting like a spoiled teenager, she comes to understand the harm she has caused and is willing to do anything to right her wrongs. She is skilled with a bow, a sword, and at racing across the countryside on Angus, her Clydesdale horse.
story 4
They return to the castle where the clans are on the brink of war due to Merida's actions and are crowding the hall, so her mother must slip in unnoticed. Merida enters and tries to calm the clans to distract them while her mother reaches her room. Merida joins her in the tapestry room with Elinor, who once again loses her humanity for a few minutes. Suddenly, Fergus arrives in her chambers looking for Elinor, but finds her transformed into a bear and mistakes her for Mor'du. Elinor reverts to her wild state and attacks Merida and Fergus, slightly injuring Merida. This causes her to regain her human consciousness, and she desperately runs out of the castle. Thinking Elinor is Mor'du, Fergus locks Merida up to protect her and pursues Elinor along with the clans.
With the help of her brothers, who were transformed into bear cubs after eating the cake their sister left in the kitchen, Merida escapes and repairs the tapestry along the way. The clan members and Fergus capture Elinor, but Merida arrives in time to prevent her father from killing her. Suddenly, Mor'du appears and quickly overpowers the clans. The bear lunges at Merida, intent on killing her, but Elinor breaks free from her bonds and fights fiercely against Mor'du. Finally, she manages to drive him away by causing one of the stone pillars to fall on the bear, injuring him for the time being.
Merida covers her mother with the repaired tapestry, hoping Elinor will become human again. However, nothing happens. Merida embraces her, regrets everything she said, and professes her love for her mother, reconciling with her. At the break of dawn, Elinor transforms back into a human along with the triplets, and the family is reunited once more. A few days later, the clans return to their respective lands, and Merida and Elinor ride their horses together.
story 3
Elinor scolds her daughter, telling her that she has endangered the kingdom with her recklessness. Merida responds by tearing down a tapestry her mother made depicting her and her parents together. Enraged, Elinor reminds her daughter that she is a princess and snatches her bow, throwing it into the fire. To Merida's horror, she flees into the forest. There, she encounters the magical lights again, which guide her to a witch's cottage. She eventually decides to buy all of the witch's wood carvings in exchange for a spell to change her mother's mind and prevent her from forcing her to marry. The witch then gives her a magic cake and mentions that a prince once came to her and asked for a spell to make him as strong as ten men.
The princess returns to the castle and gives the cake to her mother, which unexpectedly transforms her into a bear. Merida assumes the witch cast a spell on her that she didn't want. With the help of her brothers, Merida flees with her transformed mother and they return to the witch's cottage, but the witch is gone. Through an automated message controlled by potions, Merida learns that the spell will become permanent at the second sunrise unless she "mends the bond that pride broke." In the forest, Merida and her mother begin to reconcile. However, Merida observes that the spell is slowly becoming permanent, causing her mother to behave like a wild bear. Later, the pair encounter the will-o'-the-wisps again and follow them to the ancient ruins. There they discover that Mor'du was once the prince from the legend of Elinor, and he received the same spell from the witch, turning him into a bear as strong as ten men. After escaping an attack by Mor'du himself, Merida discovers that repairing the family tapestry will break the spell and prevent her mother from becoming like Mor'du.
story 2
In ancient Scotland, King Fergus and Queen Elinor celebrate their young daughter Merida's birthday. Fergus gives her a bow and teaches her how to shoot an arrow, but it veers off course into the woods. Merida ventures in to retrieve it and discovers a will-o'-the-wisp. Upon returning, her mother explains that these lights guide one to their destiny. As they prepare to return to the castle, Mor'du, a giant demon bear, attacks the family. Merida escapes with her mother, while her father and his men fight the bear, but he loses his left leg.
Years pass, and Merida, now a spirited and adventurous teenager, is the sister of mischievous triplets. Her life is now strictly controlled by her mother, who tries in vain to mold her into a model princess, making their relationship strained. The situation worsens when Elinor pressures her to marry one of the firstborn sons of the neighboring clan leaders, and to this end, the Highland Games are organized to compete for Merida's hand. According to tradition, the princess herself must choose the main event of the competition, so Merida chooses archery. During the competition, Lord Dingwall's dim-witted son wins by accident. At that moment, Merida enters the tournament, remembering the main rule: that the firstborn sons of the clans will fight for the princess's hand in the event of her choice, so as the firstborn, she can compete for her own. Thus, to everyone's surprise, she competes and wins, humiliating the clans.
history
The film, set in the Scottish Highlands during the medieval period, tells the story of a skilled archer and princess named Merida who defies an ancient custom, causing chaos in her kingdom and enraging her mother, Queen Elinor. After consulting a witch for help, Merida accidentally curses her mother and is forced to undo the spell herself before it's too late.
