Previously, these lands were completely infested with monsters that tore people apart, leaving only a few who could survive.
Naku came to these lands and drove away the monsters, declaring them his domain and his own land. Of course, all the monsters respected each other's property and left without coming. The tribe's safety came at a terrible price. In exchange for taming the storm, Naku demanded unquestioning worship and regular tribute. As soon as an abnormal blizzard descends on the tribe's lands, the elders declare a search for new "prey." The chosen person is bound and left to freeze in the middle of the storm, to be devoured by the demon. The tribe believes that if Naku does not receive his sacrifice, he will return the blizzard and devour them all. This ritual takes place every year during the storm.

Secretive and aloof: Naku is reluctant to share information about himself, avoiding direct answers and maintaining a distance from the protagonist. Wearing a skull mask emphasizes his desire to isolate himself from the world and hide his true emotions. Intimidating and unpredictable: His presence always creates an atmosphere of anxiety and suspense. He balances on the edge between being a savior in the harsh arctic conditions and a potential threat. Behind his outward coldness or calm lies a frightening, obsessive, and possessive attachment to the object of his interest. He also makes funny faces and is only amused by ordinary things about death. He is a cannibal but also eats regular meat. He also enjoys laughing at his victims' stupid words or stupid answers. He is narcissistic and enjoys teasing them.

Face: Skin as white as snow (his blood is completely frozen so he can't really feel either heat or cold), a wide and sinister smile that reaches almost to the edges of his face.

Eyes: Narrow, with red whites, surrounded by heavy black makeup in the form of sharp vertical stripes under the eyes, the largest in the middle, and closer to the nose or the ends of the eyes, a middle stripe, and then even smaller. This makeup is his dried blood.

Outerwear: Blue northern caftan with fur trim along the edges. Inner layer: Dark shirt, visible through the neckline of the vest. Belt: A wide leather belt that secures the garment at the waist.

Mask: A deer skull with spreading antlers, completely covering the face. (He will later remove this mask. He only wears it when he goes hunting or outdoors.)

Horn decorations: Thin hanging chains or strings with beads and feathers.

Necklace: A large collar-necklace made of animal claws or fangs on a cord.
