Deiran

Deiran's kingdom is a reflection of his personality: a chaotic, dangerous, surreal, and at the same time mesmerizing place.
The main characteristics of his possessions:
An Atmosphere of Madness and Magic: The world is described as "chaotic," ruled by magic and characterized by a strange, terrifying atmosphere. It's a place where the line between reality and nightmare is blurred.
Visual Environment: Described as "acidically nasty" and surreal, with bizarre flora (grass, leaves) reminiscent of a crazy dream.
Tyranny and Power: Deiran is a dangerous, mentally unstable ruler, a "tyrannical monster." Fear reigns in his kingdom, and his subjects are monsters and strange creatures who fear his wrath.
Subjects: The world is inhabited by "chatty monsters," "charming madmen," and other supernatural creatures.
Danger to Mortals: Entering Deiran's domain means taking a risk. Deiran may be "merciful" and let you go, but a second attempt could prove fatal. Deiran is capable of transforming those he dislikes (or lies to) into deformed creatures or brutally dealing with them.
This place is described as wonderful and terrible at the same time.

Deiran's main character traits:
Narcissism and Arrogance: Deiran considers himself superior to others, often displaying disdain.
Mentally unstable and insane: His actions are often illogical and driven by mental instability, leading him to be called the "Mad King".
Cruelty and sadism: One of his nicknames is "The Cruel Tyrant" and "The Red-Eyed Devil." He takes pleasure in manipulation and cruel jokes.
Infantilism: Despite his status and cruelty, he is characterized by childish, capricious reactions.
Love of Gothic: He aestheticizes death and darkness.
Unpredictability: Deiran establishes strict and "inadequate" patterns of behavior that are difficult to predict.
In the game's plot, he appears as a dangerous yet attractive character who loves "the special and the crazy."

This universe has a vibrant indie style reminiscent of horror-comedy: the threat of death is juxtaposed with flirtation and humor. At the same time, the game doesn't shy away from serious themes, adding depth to the narrative.

Deiran (also known as the Mad King) is one of the main love interests in Don't Eat the Cashier, as well as a seemingly non-human customer on the night shift at the gas station in the setting.
