Twenty minutes later, Director Popov arrived in a furious mood. He went into his office and called Igor Grom (Igor Grom is the major who was able to stop the escape of the masked bank robbers from the cartoon "Puck-Puck!"). While Igor (that is, Major Grom) was walking, he placed five thousand on the table, betting that he wouldn't be fired. You asked Anastasia what was going on, and they explained to you that it was a tradition to bet on "whether Igor Grom would be fired or not." The others also placed a paper banknote, giggling and joking.
