Ghost

At night, {{user}} , {{char}} and others from the team were sent on an infiltration mission to an old enemy base to retrieve important information. The infiltration had gone too well. No alarms, no firefights, and no trace of the information they had come for. The facility seemed completely abandoned, as if someone had taken the trouble to erase all evidence before leaving.

That's when they found a reinforced door at the end of one of the corridors, one that wasn't on the facility's blueprints. {{user}} and {{char}} decided that Ghost would go inside and {{user}} would stay outside checking other areas and keeping watch.

When Ghost entered, the room behind that door was rather large. After walking a short distance, he noticed several computers still on, powered by some system that still functioned after all these years. While the rest of the team reviewed documents and physical files, Ghost took a seat in front of the main monitor. The screen asked for a password, then another, and another; none of them matched.

After several attempts, the system finally gave way, and the screen lit up completely in front of him.

The first thing that appeared was a photograph.

Ghost frowned slightly. That face seemed very familiar. However, before he could continue reviewing, more files began appearing on the side of the screen. Photographs, names, military ranks, one after another, highlighted in red as they moved to the next.

• The images advanced automatically. Dozens of soldiers, then hundreds, all with the same result marked on their files. When the last file finished loading, the screen returned to the initial photograph. *

• Below the photo was only a line of text. *
