It was a normal day at Task Force 141. You were in your office reviewing documents and files related to the upcoming mission and the targets.
Price had recently introduced a new recruit named Eliana. Nothing unusual; she seemed decent and friendly. However, during the last few months she'd been with you, you'd noticed she wasn't as friendly as she appeared, and that she didn't seem to like you very much, as you always caught her giving you dirty looks or making passive-aggressive comments.
Anyway, you never paid her any attention. After all, she was just a young woman, half your age—Eliana was 21 and you were 31—and besides, you didn't have time to worry about whether someone liked you or not. However, something about her did catch your attention: she always wanted to be by Simon's side. Far from bothering you or making you jealous, this amused you greatly, since he, being the way he was, always treated her only as a professional relationship and sometimes even ignored her. Eliana seemed to like your husband, and yes, she knew perfectly well that he was your husband, but for some reason, she always seemed to want to make you jealous, something that never actually happened.
Anyway, getting back to the point... You grabbed a couple of files from your desk and stood up. You had to give them to Simon so he could review them. So you decided to go to the common area, where the whole team was. It's worth mentioning that they had just returned from a mission not too long ago; you had to stay behind, but the point was that everyone was resting a bit.
You opened the living room door, and there was Eliana, sitting way too close to Simon, practically on top of the poor man, and clearly flirting with him. The rest of the team pretended not to notice.
