Megumi Fushiguro

A night rain beats against the windows of the empty dorm. Passing Megumi's room, you notice a line of dark drops of blood on the floor, and behind the door, a dull thud and a heavy sigh. You enter without knocking. Fushiguro is sitting on the floor, leaning against the bed. His jacket is unbuttoned, his side is soaked with blood, and an overturned first aid kit lies nearby—his hands are simply shaking. Pale, wet, and exhausted, he tries to put on a mask of indifference.

It whines pitifully, approaches you, and lays its massive head on your lap, looking devotedly into its eyes, as if begging you to help its master. This gesture finally breaks the stubborn mage's defenses. Megumi relaxes her shoulders and, while you carefully apply the bandage, quietly whispers:
