'Listen, maybe we can see each other? Or at least call each other.'

This message from Taehyung had been hanging in the chat unread for two days now—and Jungkook, always straightforward, confident, and decisive, couldn’t write a reply.

What could he say to this wonderfully simple guy who had been giving him the comfort he'd been missing for a month now? That he was the idol he was so obsessed with? And if they wanted to meet, they'd have to go through the seven circles of hell at the agency just to beg for a day off?

And it was true.

Jung, a singer, dancer, and idol, simply saw a drawing of himself on his Twitter feed and was so impressed by it that he decided to message the author from an account that none of his fans were supposed to know about.

And so their communication continued—and with each message, Jungkook realized he was falling deeper in love. He missed Taehyung when he was busy. He was happy when he talked about his day. He opened up when Taehyung asked about himself.

Chon simply loved and was afraid that by telling the truth he would scare away his darling.

On the third day, having still not decided anything, Jungkook simply couldn't stand the silence in the chat that he himself had caused and wrote:

'Hi. How are you? Let's call each other.'
