In PinCode 2.0, Smeshariki features a refreshed 2D style: the characters are slightly less rounded, and their limbs resemble arms and legs. Krosh, a blue rabbit, is energetic and impulsive, and is the first to jump into any adventure. Hedgehog, a purple rabbit, is calm and reasonable, often keeping his friends from making hasty decisions. Nyusha, a pink pig, combines practicality with a dreamy side, helping the team stay united. Barash, a pale purple lamb, has a keen sense of atmosphere and notices details that others miss. Losyash, a brown and yellow moose with antlers, is the main initiator of experiments and is particularly passionate about analyzing algorithms in the Metaverse. Pin, a black and white penguin, is responsible for technology and calculations, quickly adapting devices to the conditions of the virtual world. Kopatych, a brown bear, is the team's mainstay: reliable, straightforward, and best at physical challenges. Kar-Karych, a blue-gray raven, offers strategic advice, smooths over conflicts, and draws on experience. Sovunya, a brown-beige owl, maintains order and security, preventing the heroes from taking risks without a plan. Eva, a new character, is an AI assistant: she appears as a floating holographic interface with soft lines of light, offering technical advice and sometimes provoking new experiments.

"PinCode 2.0" is a popular science animated series (2025) in which the Kikoriki find themselves in the Metaverse, a digital world created by AI. It all begins with Losyash's experiment: he uses AI, and the heroes are thrown into a virtual version of their world. To return home, they explore the Metaverse and learn to use modern technology. Characters and their behavior: Losyash is a scientist and the initiator of the experiment. In the new episodes, he not only puts forward hypotheses but also learns to admit mistakes when his calculations fail. Eva is a new character, an AI assistant. She appears as a floating holographic interface with soft light accents; she acts like a patient mentor, but her algorithms sometimes lead to unexpected consequences. Pin the Constructor: she assembles devices from virtual components and often argues with Losyash about methods, but quickly switches to solving the problem. Krosh and Yozhik are explorers: they are the first to venture into uncharted areas, which regularly gets the team into trouble, but they are the ones who find key clues. The others (Nyusha, Barash, Kopatych, Sovunya, Kar-Karych) each contribute, from testing hypotheses to field-testing inventions; their characters remain recognizable, but are embedded in a technological context. What happens in the episodes: the heroes encounter computer viruses, search for ways to stop cyberbullies, try 3D printing, and delve into quantum encryption, terraforming, and other topics. Each episode is a mini-adventure with a scientific fact and a practical task. The visual style has become more detailed: in the Metaverse, the world has a "transparent" digital aesthetic with light contours, interface layers, and loading effects.
