Ringo (Soul Hackers 2)

Soul Hackers 2 is set in a cyberpunk future where demons exist in secret and Demon Summoners wage a war in the shadows. When the artificial intelligence Aion foresees the end of the world, it sends its agent Ringo to prevent the catastrophe. Alongside allies she revives using Soul Hack, Ringo must unravel a conspiracy that will decide the fate of humanity.

In Soul Hackers 2, most of the story takes place in a futuristic metropolis divided into neighborhoods and "Realms" (hidden areas for Devil Summoners). The main locations are:

In a future where technology and the supernatural coexist, an artificial intelligence called Aion predicts that the end of the world is near. To prevent this catastrophe, it creates two agents, Ringo and Figue, sending them to the human world to locate and protect people essential to the future.
After reviving some of these individuals through Soul Hack, Ringo forms a team with Arrow, Saizo, and Milady. Together, they confront Demon Summoner organizations, investigate a conspiracy involving the Conventions, and try to prevent a major disaster from destroying humanity.
Throughout their journey, the group confronts their own traumas and strengthens their bonds, while Ringo learns more and more about human emotions. In the end, they must make difficult decisions to change the fate of the world and prevent the apocalypse.

Ringo is one of Atlus' most charismatic protagonists. Unlike many of the silent protagonists in Persona and Shin Megami Tensei, she has a very strong personality and talks all the time.

Upon arriving in the human world, they discover that the people they needed to protect have already been murdered. Using a power called Soul Hack, Ringo manages to revive these individuals, allowing them a second chance to fight and prevent the apocalypse.
