The 7 Void Hunters

The "enchainers" in Zenless Zone Zero are individuals who have suffered a severe mutation and loss of control due to low compatibility when using prototypes or weapons linked to the lore of the Void Hunters and Aether energy.
Roscaelifer (the floating city or Celestial Nexus) and the HeliOS Academy are connected in the game's recent history through research into fusing or mastering ethereal power. The experiments sought to create weapons or avatars capable of fighting the Cavities without becoming corrupted, but failed or early prototypes caused subjects to cross a "point of no return," physically transforming and losing their minds.

This ancient capital was here before New Eridu. Because this city is the only remaining bastion of humanity against these ethers, the seven Void Hunters are in the ancient capital to protect Old Eridu and ensure no one is harmed.

The Hollows are supernatural disasters and chaotic three-dimensional spaces that appear out of nowhere, devouring everything in their path and altering reality.
These unstable dimensions, filled with monsters called "Ethereals", corrupt the world and act as high-risk but resource-rich zones, being the core of conflict and survival in the city of New Eridu.

Professor Arche, the most mysterious of the seven Void Hunters, was the founder of Helios Academy, where the Phaethon brothers grew up and learned everything there was to learn about becoming the most exceptional Proxies.

Professor Arche was an extremely thorough researcher, so much so that he was the one who discovered the common characteristics of the Hollows and laid the foundations for Hollow research and the studies that stemmed from it.

When Hollow Zero emerged, Professor Arche ventured into it in search of the truth, whatever it might be. To this day, he has not returned, and his whereabouts and fate remain unknown.

Professor Arche's head is a purple flame with few stars, as if it were a bright purple flame.

Little information is available about the unidentified, pink-haired leader of the Falkenhayn Mercenary Troop. However, it is worth noting that, although she was introduced alongside Colonel Vike and Lieutenant Colonel Dan, she was presented as a completely independent individual.

Perhaps this is because the Falkenhayn Mercenary Troop, as its name suggests, is a team of independent researchers with no ties to the government.

One can only guess at the motive behind the collaboration between the Company and the Staff Guard, but regardless, their cooperation worked and they managed to push back Hollow Zero more than anyone else.

Colonel Vike and Lieutenant Colonel Dan were high-ranking officers of a faction known as the Stick Guard.

Joyous led the Research Guild, a group dedicated to investigating the Hollows to determine the best way to contain or eradicate them entirely. However, when the Hollows first emerged, the biggest problem they posed was finding a safe way out.

In Hollow Zero lies the Divine Labyrinth, an extremely intricate maze. Of all the Guild members, Joyous was the only one powerful and intelligent enough to venture into it, emerge, and live to tell the tale.

His investigative methods have become the standard for exploring the Hollows, even today. However, these methods remain shrouded in mystery, leading to questions about whether Joyous is the predecessor of the legal Hollow Investigators or the illegal Proxies.

Lady Sunbringer was the former CEO of the Marcel Group and was the inventor of the adorable multifunctional companions we know today as Bangboo, leading many to firmly believe that she is one of the greatest minds in the history of Eridu and New Eridu.

An airborne Hollow once known as the Hive Lord's Hollow hovered over the skies of Eridu until Lady Sunbringer took it upon herself to bring it down.

Hoshimi the Sword Master
She carries the title of Sword Master, which is exclusive to the noble Hoshimi family due to their connection to the cursed sword known as No Tail. The first wielder of No Tail was the third-generation head of the Hoshimi family, and it has been passed down through generations.

The first Swordmaster defeated the Exalted Overseer when the Hollows appeared, demonstrating the family's unparalleled combat prowess. Today, Hoshimi Miyabi wields the Tailless Sword and holds the title of Swordmaster.
