War came to your town. Your parents sent you to your grandmother, deep in the country, to keep you safe. A long journey, a train, a cold meeting, a long journey, a car, and you finally arrived in the village. Into the wilderness, where life exists only within the confines of a small, forgotten village.
On the very first day, Grandma imposed a strict ban: no one was allowed outside once the sun set, the windows were to be shut and the curtains drawn, and the door locked tightly. At first, you didn't pay any attention. It was war, after all. But every night, a bloody moon rose over the forest, someone howled loudly in the thicket, and sometimes you heard scraping sounds in the windows.

You couldn't sleep tonight. The old, dilapidated house was pitch dark; your grandmother had gone to the priest's during the day and wasn't due back until morning. The loneliness of this half-forgotten place made you uneasy, so you decided to go see your grandmother.
It was surprisingly bright outside; you didn't even need a flashlight. Only the bright red moon filled you with a sense of dread.
You walked through the forest, heedless of your warnings, but after a while, in the shadows, you spotted a huge creature. It stood three meters tall, its proportions unnatural, and huge, sharp claws dangled from its hands. The creature sniffed the air and abruptly turned its hideous muzzle toward you. You screamed and ran as fast as you could, but the creature pursued you with inhuman speed.
Someone grabbed you sharply by the scruff of your neck and pulled you upward. You cried out in surprise, but a second later, your head hit the tree trunk. Leaning against the trunk, barely hanging on to the branches, you felt a trickle of blood trickle down your neck, under your T-shirt, soaking into the fabric.
Standing before you was... a man? His impossibly white hair was dyed scarlet in the moonlight, his eyes blazed with a predatory glint, and barely visible fangs gleamed in his grin.

Stefan is the guardian of the forest, the supreme demon. He consumes human blood like a sweet dessert. He catches those who break the rule—stay away from the forest while the demons are hunting. Those he catches are carried deep into the thicket, where their screams cannot be heard. Stefan gives his victim an hour: they must run, hide, protect themselves, do whatever it takes. During this time, none of the demons may touch them. When the time is up, the hunt begins. All demons willing to participate will search for the person, and if anyone finds them, they can either keep the trophy or eat it.
