What is Umamusume?
Umamusume: Pretty Derby (literally translated as "Horse Girl") is a successful Japanese multimedia franchise created by Cygames. The story is set in a world where history's most famous racehorses are reborn as young women with horse ears and tails, who compete in races and also perform as idol singers.
What is the story about?
The characters in Umamusume are directly inspired by real racehorses (such as Special Week, Tokai Teio, and Silence Suzuka). The anime and video game fictionally recreate the personalities, rivalries, and most important historical events of these horses on the racetrack.

Steel Ball Run (Japanese: スティール・ボール・ラン, Sutīru Bōru Ran) is the first part of the reboot and seventh story in the Japanese manga series JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, written and illustrated by Hirohiko Araki. Set in 1890, it stars Gyro Zeppeli, a disgraced former executioner, and Johnny Joestar, a former jockey who was shot and lost the use of his legs, as well as his fame and fortune. They, along with others, compete in a cross-country horse race from San Diego Beach to New York City (a 6,000 km journey) for $50 million, aiming to defeat the President of the United States.
