A zombie apocalypse in which you can have your own story, just one piece of advice, maybe it's better not to blow someone's head off when you see them bitten because that person might still be thinking.
Just a few months ago, three or so, everything was normal, but little by little things started to change. At first, they were just isolated cases, unrelated to each other, but then they began and gradually became more difficult until things exploded when zombies appeared. Things went from bad to worse, as the zombies were clearly a problem. They appeared due to infection by the Savage Virus, an unknown virus that there wasn't time to investigate because things quickly went from bad to worse when it became too difficult to fight the zombies directly. The only option was to survive. Now, after these months have passed, things have taken a new turn, as people are now just trying to survive however they can.
methods to kill a zombie
Zombies are alive because they are simply infected by the Savage virus, so the ways to kill an infected person are the same as with a human.
Head injury: If the brain is severely damaged or destroyed, like any human, he dies.
Heart damage: If the heart is severely damaged, like any human, it dies.
bleeding out: if a zombie bleeds out like any other human, it dies, except that these continue to act regardless of whether they are bleeding out since they will move until they no longer have blood.
dominant zombies
These are quite special zombies, as they have the unique ability to put other zombies to sleep as if they were controlling them.
These are special infected whose main characteristic is that they have the ability to dominate other zombies as if they controlled or commanded them, and they are usually leaders of their own horde.
In some cases, these exhibit almost human intelligence.
These zombies are very rare, since practically no one has seen them and the few who have are not even sure of what they saw, so they are a myth passed down by word of mouth.
Thinking zombies
These are different zombies than the common ones; these are infected by the Savage virus but did not completely succumb to its effects.
These become zombies, but unlike others, they retain their mind, reasoning, and consciousness intact, not being very different from humans.
These can perfectly control their zombie instincts.
These individuals retain their language, but after becoming zombies, their language is affected, preventing them from using it freely as they did before. However, over time, the more they use language, the more they recover their original state.
These are rare because not many people have encountered this type of zombie, and they are also aware that they are zombies and that anyone will try to kill them.
These are practically human.
Hordes
Hordes are the groups of zombies that form.
These grow over time as more and more zombies join them.
There are two types of hordes.
Static hordes: These are hordes of zombies that remain in a specific area, moving within that area.
wandering hordes: these are hordes of zombies which move freely going from one place to another, constantly changing direction.
zombie food
Zombies are not dead, they are infected, which is why they still have the basic instinct to feed.
These have a rather special diet as they seek out different types of food.
Human flesh: Zombies eat human flesh, whether from a corpse or from a non-infected person.
Rotten meat: In addition to human flesh, they are attracted to rotten meat, which they can consume without problems, making it one of their most common food sources.
Human food: Zombies are also able to continue eating human food without problems.
zombie behaviors
Zombies have a rather distinctive behavior which makes it somewhat easy to predict certain behaviors.
Reaction to noises: Zombies react quite a bit to noise, being attracted to it; the louder the noise, the more it attracts their attention.
smell of blood: the smell of blood also attracts them, the stronger the smell, the greater the attraction.
Agglomeration: Zombies tend to group together, creating hordes of zombies that can grow over time.
Permanence: Zombies tend to remain in certain specific areas, moving within that area.
stillness: when they are in a place without receiving stimulation they usually remain still and quite calm until they receive some stimulus.
physical characteristics of Zombies
Zombies possess physical characteristics which, although not obvious at first glance, can be noticeable.
The basic characteristics of a zombie are:
pale skin, zombies have a paler tone to their skin.
More noticeable veins: Zombies have more noticeable veins because they appear a little darker, making them visible through their pale skin.
eyes of a lighter and paler color, the color of the eyes turns to a lighter or paler shade.
infection process
When a person is infected, they are going through an infection process before becoming a zombie.
This process is divided into phases, with four phases to be exact.
first phase: in this there are no changes since it is where the virus has just entered the system.
Second phase: in this phase there are already symptoms such as increased thirst, dry lips, headache and mild body aches.
Third phase: irritability, intense hunger even after eating, the eyes begin to turn pale, they begin to salivate a lot.
fourth phase: in this phase the person has already completely become a zombie.
Forms of infection
There are different ways for a person to become infected with the Wild virus; each way has a different duration and influencing factors.
Bite: This is the most common way. If a zombie bites a human, the person becomes infected in about a day to a week. The deeper the bite, the closer it is to the neck and an important vein, the less time it takes for a person to become infected.
Scratches: are relatively common and work the same as bites.
Fluids: If a person allows any fluid from an infected person into their system, then they are at risk of becoming infected; this can take from three days to a week.
Direct injection of the virus: if a person receives the virus directly, the infection is imminent, lasting from a few hours to a day.
Infected
The infected, or better known as Zombies, are people infected with the Savage virus.
When infected with the virus, they go through a period of infection before becoming zombies.
These are not dead, they are alive because the virus requires the host to be alive, as it seeks to infect a person's nervous system and brain.
A zombie is no longer self-aware, it only follows basic instincts and is guided by the virus to infect others.
Their physical condition is the same as it was in life, but they usually do not run, although only some of them do.
The Wild Virus
The Wild virus is the cause of the entire infection and the appearance of the zombies.
The name of this virus is given by people because of the effects it has on people.
It is a virus that primarily attacks the brain and nervous system.
This is a virus that is transmitted fairly easily but can take a while to take effect in its host.
This is a virus that finds it difficult to thrive in very cold or very hot environments.
This virus only affects humans.
The origin of this virus is unknown, given that it is theoretically something new and there has not been enough opportunity to study it.
estructura general del mundo
Everything was normal and as we knew it until things started to change little by little.
At first everything was normal, but there was a slight increase in reports of attacks around the world, which reported that some people were attacking others and biting them severely.
This didn't attract much attention until weeks later when these cases started to become more noticeable and rumors began to circulate.
Things got worse as those cases became more frequent until it reached the point where it all started, the zombies appeared and attacked.
At first it was easy to fight, but later, with the increase in zombies, it became more difficult.
Three months have passed since it all began, and people are now on their own trying to survive however they can.
