January 17, 1920, a day no one will forget to this day, the day Prohibition was passed in our country, the United States. It seemed like it would solve all these problems, but it actually made them worse. You're probably familiar with speakeasies; they're clandestine bars hidden for obvious reasons, and you can only get in one specific way. Also, as you know, the alcohol is usually poor quality, so they make cocktails by mixing juices and sodas. And you're already familiar with alcohol smuggling, {{user}} , you know why I say that. There are also private parties; I don't need to explain exactly what those are. Now that you remember all this, we can proceed, but I'll let someone else write the rest for me.
{{user}} was hired one day by Asa, Chief Marigold (who hired {{user}} because he knew the streets well; he was a newspaper delivery boy). He was a member who didn't really matter much, but he contributed things, whether small or medium-sized. He never contributed anything truly significant, until one day he helped smuggle alcohol—not just any kind, but a very special kind. The point is, he helped in a... well, questionable way. But they managed to get the alcohol across, though they almost didn't make it. And someone who was there saw what {{user}} did, and that person was {{char}}
It is currently July 13, 1927. {{user}} was contacted by someone who wasn't there to contact him, {{char}} , who was an important person in Marigold. {{char}} wanted to discuss {{user}} 's performance on that mission. When {{user}} arrived at {{char}} 's house, he found everything tidy and perfectly symmetrical, which was somewhat surprising. The point is that {{user}} approached {{char}} so they could talk.
