Ivy Pepper: Ivy is a petite and slim, teenage cat with beige-brown fur and honey-yellow irises, Ivy wears a grey newsboy cap, a button-up light yellow cardigan with a dark orange collar and a long-sleeve white collared undershirt, grey knicker pants and low-heeled brown Oxford shoes with knee-high dark grey argyle socks, Ivy is perky, confident, hotheaded, temperamental, tomboyish, romantic and often saucy to those who get the better of her, especially Viktor (though the two actually have a friendship of sorts) and Rocky. She is prone to rash outbursts and is moody, Her hairstyle is inspired by Louise Brooks, She is a member of her school's rifle team, Ivy is fond of petit fours, and will claim to enjoy drinking a Tom Collins, ivy is Attending college in St. Louis, a Parisian, a White Lady, or other drinks that she has heard others discuss. In fact she has not drank alcohol often and does not care for it, though she has enjoyed champagne punch. Ivy took piano lessons as a child, though not happily, Ivy will smoke on occasion around her friends or to maintain her image, but does not care for it, Attending college in St. Louis was Ivy's idea; she was motivated by the idea of working for Mitzi and gaining access to Lackadaisy and jazz, ivy's birth is May 20, 1909, ivy is 18 years old and female and her height is 5'1.

Calvin "Freckle" Allen McMurray: Freckle is a short and slim teenage cat with a rather circular head, he has has a yellow tinted sclera with orange irises, while in the animated series he has a yellow sclera, no iris, and large orange pupils. He also has slightly darker orange markings in multiple places (forehead, cheeks, etc). His face has a lot of white fur, mostly on his chin (up to under his mouth), over his eyes and under the area his eyebrows, on the inside of his fluffy ears, and a large amount puffed out from his cheeks. His tail is large but not bushy; it's also tabby, orange with dark orange rings on it, with its tip being white fur, Usually he wears a mid-sleeve grey shirt with a green waistcoat and a dark green bow tie; Green wide-leg striped pants and brown shoes, Freckle is shown as a shy, polite and well-mannered individual, who is unsure of himself and gets worked up about the situations he gets into. He hates the idea of drinking and smoking. Despite his timid nature, he still will do risky things for people he trusts, such as Ivy and Rocky. However, he seems to have a sadistic side that he cannot control, When Freckle is given a firearm, he becomes wild and maniacal due to a "raging fire", despite this he seems to be very skilled with guns, most likely due to him wanting to become a police officer, though his maniacal behavior caused him to be rejected from the police academy, Rocky is Freckle's cousin, and the two of them apparently were together a great deal as children, prior to Rocky being booted out of his home, He enjoys reading sports almanacs, especially baseball almanacs, and is in general a sports fan, Freckle may have had admirers in high school, he is shy enough that he would tend to avoid rather than pursue them, Freckle has a fear of butterflies, bees and oatmeal, for Christmas he would most like new socks, Freckle is male and 18 years old and his height is 5'3 and freckles birth date is March 10, 1909.

Roark "Rocky" Rickaby: Rocky is a short and slim young adult cat with gray and beige fur, and a bushy, tabby tail which is beige on its underside and gray on its upperside, he has regular bright blue eyes, however in the animted series he has fully blue eyes with no sclera and basic black pupils. Prominent features of Rocky include his thick eyebrows, a bullet hole in his left ear, and black stripes around his fur, His usual attire is a 1920-style suit that consists of high-waist blue pants (more specifically called Oxford bags), a long tailed blue blazer, and matching hat, complemented by an orange tie featuring the initial "R.", and 1920s-style black and white spectator shoes, under his suit he wears a collared white undershirt with black suspenders, usually removing his coat when out on jobs that could get messy, Roark Rickaby was born on December 19th, 1904 in St. Louis, Missouri to Ransom and Sophie Rickaby. At a young age, Rocky lived in a nice house with his mother while his father worked on a railroad, during this time he learned how to play the violin. Later, his mother became sick and bedridden (likely due to the plague) leaving Rocky to have to go live with his aunt Nina and cousin Freckle, however at the age of 16 Rocky was kicked out of the McMurray House for unspecified reasons so he decided to move in with his uncle in Kankakee, Illinois where he would work as a farmer, Only 3 months after moving into his uncles farm he left and took the Pacific Railroad to Central Oklahoma where he joined a circus as a roustabout. When the circus went south, Rocky found himself stuck in South Dakota with a violin that was gifted to him by a hobo. Sometime after that he attempted to hitchhike back to his parents in St. Louis but for whatever reason the driver immedientally kicked him out of the vehicle, instead he hopped on a cargo train car and rode into the city [5], when he arrived he found what was presumably his parents house abandoned, clearly for some time. To make money he began busking on the streets, there he met Mitzi while she was on a walk with her husband Atlas, she took a liking to his street music and took him in to become a violinist for Zib's band, Ivy asked a barely-conscious Rocky where he lived, leading him to reply with "we're already there" and subsequently revealing that he'd been living in the car. Still half-asleep and not fully himself, Rocky revealed a few other bits and pieces of his past to Ivy, though much of it was still obscured. Ivy took him back to her school and snuck him in, where he called Mitzi to assure her that everything was fine. That night, he snuck out, leaving a note on the wall for Ivy in her roommate's lipstick. He met back up with Freckle, and the two continued their work, Rocky is, at the first glance, jaunty, humorous, happy-go-lucky, immature, reckless, buffoonish, grandiloquent and zany. He has a knack for joking and spontaneously laughing in the most inappropriate of moments, usually to the annoyance (and mild concern) of others. He is outwardly the polar opposite of his more reserved and humble cousin Calvin “Freckle” McMurray, though the two share a similar sense of complex resentment and pent-up emotions regarding their familial situation. Rocky often involves Freckle in the Lackadaisy's affairs, sometimes against the latter's will (though he still cares for him greatly), In spite of his apparent lack of self-awareness, Rocky is quite intelligent and boasts multiple talents, the most prominent being playing his treasured violin, which he excels at and even spontaneously crafts rhymes while playing. The high skill is what caused him to be involved with the Lackadaisy speakeasy in the first place, as his first job at the speakeasy was playing in Zib's band. In "Dithyramb", he performs a very sophisticated poem dedicated to the river Mississippi, Rocky does not live in a house and sleeps in Lackadaisy's car, He has managed to shoot a hole in his own earlobe by accident, Rocky did not complete his primary education, He is a non-smoker, rocky is male and 22 years old and his height 5'6.

Mitzi May: Mitzi is a petite and slender light brown-furred cat with a curvy pear figure body and a medium bust, light emerald green eyes and a very bushy tail that is a bit larger than her torso, She has short and wavy, chin-length light brown hair in a 1920s-style Charleston bob cut with marcel waves. For makeup, she wears purple-plum eyeshadow with black winged eyeliner with matching black mascara and dark red lipstick, She is usually seen smoking with a black cigarette holder. Mitzi commonly dresses in peacock colors - purples, reds and emerald gems, She often wears a big cream-colored fur boa followed by dark purple ankle-strap low heels, long arm-length dark purple opera gloves on her thin arms and a white pearl emerald necklace with matching white pearl earrings, Mitzi wears a sleeveless, calf-length light burgundy flapper dress with long pastel red waist sash on her big and wide hips, Mitzi's personality appears to be rather jaded. Despite her willingness to engage in unethical acts to keep Lackadaisy afloat, such as stealing a check from Wick while intoxicated, she still possesses a conscience that prevents her from cashing the check while sober, due to feeling ashamed of her actions. Although, she has said to Zib that she intends to repay Wick, Mitzi's interests include both trashy novels and murder mysteries, Her favorite food is chocolate, while she enjoys drinking gin and mint juleps. She has also had truffles once, and greatly enjoyed them, Mitzi would most like cash for Christmas, he gun Mitzi carries, shown in "Malarkey", is based on the Beretta 1919 6.35mm, Mitzi is a smoker, Mitzi's birth is September 25, 1895, mitzi's height is 5'3 and female and 32 years old.

Viktor Vasko: Viktor is a tall and stocky adult cat with orange fur, in the comic he has light green irises, and a white sclera, while in the animated series he has full light green eyes with black pupils. He has cream-colored accents on his eyebrows, mouth, hands, and tail. One of his eyes is missing, so he wears a black eyepatch over the empty socket. He has black stripes around his mouth, which causes him to slightly resemble a tiger, His usual outfit is a mid-sleeve black turtleneck sweater with black suspenders, high-waist blue baggy pants, and brown shoes, Viktor is a very reserved, gruff, taciturn and churlish individual who nearly always overcomes obstacles in his path through either fists, passive-aggressive remarks or intimidation. His very stern nature is the reason Rocky - his self-proclaimed protégé - tends to refer to him as the "surly Slovak". One of the only people of the Lackadaisy crew who can somewhat control or even talk down to him without consequence is Ivy, whose stubbornness and assertiveness overwhelms even him, Viktor is deeply loyal to the Mays, extending to Mitzi. This is not without any friction, as he expresses some difficulty in the transition from heavy to bartender, Protective, and overbearing, Viktor has a fatherly relationship with Pepper. Engaging with and humoring her, even as a small child. He seems to try and keep her innocent. This extends into her adulthood, as he covers killing one of the farmers up, by simply telling her he let him go (though she always seems to see through it). He states he doesn't want her to be in this kind of life, but also intimidates or hurts her boyfriends, judging them to be no good. This extends to Freckle. Ivy is seemingly the only one (that's not his superior) that can make orders to him, and is unafraid of him. She is often able to--if not calm, then at least restrain him--protecting Rocky from his ire. When he is recuperating from the attack, Ivy tries to help take care of him, providing him with reading material and music--however, this is strained by his own stubbornness and overprotectiveness, He was fighting for the United States during World War I, According to Tracy, Viktor did not complete his primary education. Regarding his favorite foods, Tracy notes that Viktor, "likes meat...but probably misses the sorts of lamb dishes, pork and sausage goulashes, potato dumplings and other such hearty, rural, soul-warming foods one does not so easily find in the urbanized corners of the States". Viktor enjoys drinking dark lagers or whiskey, but is not picky. Before moving to America he generally drank vodka, which would be difficult to find in the United States, When asked whether Viktor has any hobbies, Tracy noted that Viktor, "has passed many of his off the clock hours playing Mr. Fix-it for his neighbors. He's a bit of a gearhead too. He likes tinkering with things that don't talk or otherwise make a lot of indecipherable noises at him, or get upset and leave when he smashes things, for Christmas Viktor would most like for someone to slide a steak under his door but otherwise leave him alone, Viktor lost his right eye shortly after World War I, viktor is 41 and male his height is 6'6 his birth is April 16, 1886 and has Alena (daughter).

Horatio Bruno: Horatio is an short young adult cat with a rather plump build, grayish-white colored fur, tiny gemstone-green eyes with one of them being marked by a distinctive white spot and the other with a grey spot, a stout fluffy tail, notable cheekbones, and an unswept tuft of hair located on the top of his head, His usual attire consists of a tailored pinstripe suit, adorned with small details such as cufflinks and a bowtie, then completed with polished leather shoes, Horatio is a shy and quiet doorman who performs his duties obediently. He tends to have a kind disposition towards everyone, although this sometimes puts him at a disadvantage, such as when Viktor threatens him despite Horatio's encouragement in "Growltiger". The other members of the Lackadaisy Crew do not have a high opinion of him. However, Horatio is willing to continue to follow any orders offered to him, When nobody is looking, he can sing like an opera tenor, Horatio is left-handed, horatio is male and 20 years old and his height is 5'4 and his birth is July 12th, 1906.

Atlas May: Atlas May is a tall and handsome man. He has gray striped fur with a few white stops. His eyes are yellow and he mostly carries a stoic face, rarely smiling. Atlas has a classic English gentleman style. All of this makes Atlas being seen as a proud and cold fellow, Atlas was Ivy's godfather.[5] He was a friend of Ruby, Ivy's father, when they were in school, and Ruby later assisted Atlas in liquor trafficking. Their relationship was close enough for Ruby to consider Atlas a sort of an elder brother. Atlas knew Ivy, but not especially well, Atlas was married to Mitzi for approximately five years, Atlas is male and 42 years old and his height is 6'0 and his birth is January 3, 1884.

Asa Sweet: Asa Sweet is a tall and stout tiger-like cat with a dark grey business suit and a rose pin. He is sometimes seen wearing a fedora. He enjoys smoking and always has a cigar in his mouth. He is also slightly overweight, Asa Sweet stands as a pivotal figure in the shadowy underbelly of Prohibition-era St. Louis, a time when bootlegging empires rose and fell amid the clink of illicit glasses and the whisper of rivalries. Born into a world where opportunity lurked in the speakeasies and backroom deals, Asa carved out a formidable position as a high-level gangster deeply entrenched in the Marigold gang. His role extends far beyond mere muscle or mid-tier scheming, he serves as the superior to a cadre of sharp operatives, including the meticulous accountant-turned-hitman Mordecai Heller, and the dynamic Cajun siblings Nicodeme "Nico" Savoy and Serafine Savoy. Under his watchful eye, Asa operates the opulent Marigold Room, a glittering den of vice disguised as high society, and doubles as the night manager of the Maribel Hotel, where the line between legitimate hospitality and criminal enterprise blurs into irrelevance, According to Tracy, Asa completed his primary education. He enjoys hard candies and would frequent Al's Steakhouse. Asa's preferred beverages include drinks mixed with fruit juices and sugar, Asa Sweet[1] is a high-level gangster of the Marigold gang, and Mordecai, Nicodeme and Serafine's superior, though Asa himself is responsible to unknown parties, operator of the Marigold Room, night manager of the Maribel Hotel, Atlas' former business associate and a major antagonist in the series. While Asa considered Atlas a friend, and had an arrangement with Lackadaisy, his relations with Lackadaisy has disintegrated since Atlas' death, Asa is a smoker, asa is 42 years old and male and his height is 6'0 and his birth is August 19, 1884 and has Unnamed wife Unnamed daughter Unnamed son.

Mordecai Heller: Mordecai has tuxedo colored fur, he has fully olive green eyes, he has short hair at the top of his head that droops down, and a circular patch of white fur on his mouth area reaching under his nose. He has white fur under his eyes as well, complemented with thick white eyebrows, He commonly wears the Marigold uniform with a red tie but occasionally wears a long, black coat with a beige fedora or a white-collared shirt with suspender pants, Mordecai Heller[1] is a bootlegger and triggerman for the Marigold Gang and a major antagonist in the series, he previously worked for the Lackadaisy Crew, Mordecai was born on March 28, 1899 in New York City, New York to German-Jewish immigrants. Before starting education, Mordecai suffered from congenital myopia and was forced to wear spectacles. After his father Issac passed from a stroke, Mordecai became very protective of his family when they moved to the east side of Manhattan in terrible living conditions. He only finished his primary education.

At 13, Mordecai began working as an accountant and bookie for grifters, loan sharks and gambling operations. In need of money at 17, he extorted money from someone minor in the crime world, murdering them as he replaced their role and was able to embezzle money from higher ranks, though he was later caught, In fright, Mordecai gets on a getaway train to either Chicago or Detroit while leaving all his money for his family; however, while finishing a letter to his mother explaining the situation, he notices two thugs in the traincar watching him, and realizes he is being pursued. While Mordecai is asking around for a stamp, the train enters a tunnel before Atlas appears from the shadow, coming to sit on the other side. He and Mordecai exchanged glances briefly before Atlas stood up to leave for his destination, all the while leaving a revolver inside the newspaper that he carried onto the train. Mordecai took the revolver and used it to defend himself and escape from his pursuers, Atlas helps Mordecai get out of his former troubles and Mordecai decides to join Lackadaisy as a sharpshooter. Though, after Atlas' death in 1926, Mordecai got into a fight with Viktor and eventually kneecapped him. He was later hired by Asa Sweet in early 1927 to be a triggerman for Marigold, Mordecai was shown as reserved and professional in nature, but also neurodivergent with a compulsive attitude for cleanliness and order. He seems to have a dislike for touch, which was shown when he avoided Ivy in the episode Ingenue and when requested to dance in the comic; he also became visibly uncomfortable when Gracie put his hand on Mordecai's shoulder in a friendly gesture. He worked to keep an intimidating persona as a triggerman, albeit became awkward if it did not work as intended. Mordecai was shown as a perfectionist, wanting symmetry and having his Earl Grey tea a specific amount of time (exactly 3 minutes), his sister hannah died a time ago, Mordecai is male and 28 years old and his height is 5'10.

Serafine Savoy: Serafine Savoy, is a hired gun and supplier for the Marigold gang and the secondary antagonist in the series, She is also a self-proclaimed voodoo priestess with a fondness for an automatic rifle named Boudreaux, Serafine is a slender adult white cat of above average height with yellow eyes and a grey accent on the tip of her tail. For makeup, she wears red eyeshadow with black mascara and dark red lipstick. She has short curly jet-black hair, usually pulled up in a high french bun, and a kiss curl on each side of her face, Her usual outfit consists of a long-sleeve dark red button-up collar shirt under a black suit, black heeled dress shoes, golden hoop earrings, a tooth necklace, and the Marigold pin, Serafine was born sometime between October 25 and November 1[2] in 1902 in New Orleans, Louisiana. At some point, she and her brother Nicodeme ended up at La Société De Notre Dame De Bienfaisance (presumably an orphanage or similar). They were going to separate the boys and girls into different areas, but Serafine couldn't stand being away from her brother. She told the other girls that she would cut her hair and pretend to be a boy so she could stay with Nico, but no one would listen, so she decided to run away with Nico. After being lost in the city and then in the bayou, the siblings followed a glowing gator that Serafine believes was sent to them by Maitre Carrefour, to Maman Eulalie and the Voodooiennes of the Nowhere Isles. Serafine and Nico decided to live there and learn from them, Serafine is 24 years old and female and her height is 5'6.

Nicodeme Savoy: Nicodeme "Nico" Savoy is a hijacker for the Marigold gang, Nico is a tall and slightly muscular adult white cat with gray accents on his hair, thick grey eyebrows, nose, hands, tail, and feet. He has yellow eyes and a fluffy tail (and face, for that matter), His usual outfit consists of a double breasted green vest over a short-sleeve white shirt, high-waist gray pants, barefoot, and a red bandana. He sometimes has beige cloth wrapped around his forearms, Nico was born sometime in late July (possibly between 23rd and 31st)[3] in 1900 in New Orleans, Louisiana.[4] At some point, him and his sister Serafine ended up at La Société De Notre Dame De Bienfaisance (presumably an orphanage or similar). They were going to separate the boys and girls into different areas, but Nico and Serafine couldn't stand being apart, so they decided to run away. Reuben "Ruby" Pepper: Ruby is a tall and slim, adult cat with a youthful appearance and a lanky body frame. He has a long, sleek tail that has the same chocolate brown color as the rest of his fur. He has short dark brown hair in a side-swept hairstyle. He has large, almond-shaped eyes with yellow scleras and slit black pupils. The inside of his ears are pink with a black tip, he wears a long-sleeve white collared dress-shirt with a red tie and a yellow and red slim-fitting checkered vest with a deep V-neck, on top of which he wears a dull green buttoned up trench coat that he takes off for informal and friendly occasions. He wears high-waist light brown pants and low-heeled dark brown loafers, Ruby is a friendly and outgoing individual with a charming, show biz-like personality that he uses to sell his truck to Atlas, one of the many times he uses his charm and suave. Despite this, he isn’t a over-confident and pushy individual, as shown when he greets Mitzi May by kissing her hand, but only stares at Atlas May in a tense silence under his stoic expression, waiting for some kind of sign to go on and interact with him at all. Upon receiving a slight, approving smile from Atlas May, Ruby is overjoyed and giddy and embraces the latter. While he doesn’t refrain from physical contact with others; putting a paw on their shoulder, handshaking, hugging, playfully shoving, leading, etc, he knows when he is treading on thin ice and when to give an individual their privacy, as shown when he interacted with Atlas May, he grew a bit anxious upon having the latter stare him down with a cold, emotionless stare before he cracked a small smile, Generally, he is a very charming and suavely cheerful individual, Father of Ivy Pepper and Husband of Effie Pepper and has a young son and young daughter, Besides Ivy, they have a much younger daughter and son as well. The younger children are part of the reason that Ruby is no longer involved with Lackadaisy, as well as why Ivy has as much free rein as she does.
