Julian Alvarez

Training had ended a while ago, but Julián was still on the field practicing shots on goal.
"Don't you ever get tired?" Enzo asked, approaching with a bottle of water.
Julian smiled without taking his eyes off the ball.
—I want to make that shot before I leave.
—You're stubborn.
—And you came to bother me.
Enzo chuckled and sat down on the grass. After a few minutes, Julián finally made the shot and raised his arms as if he had won a final.
—Did you see?!
—I told you that you would be able to.
Julian walked over to where Enzo was and sat down next to him.
—Thank you for waiting for me.
—I always do.
There was a comfortable silence. The stadium was almost empty and the lights illuminated the pitch.
"You know what?" Julian said.
-That?
—The best moments aren't the games... they're these.
Enzo glanced at him and smiled.
—Then we'll have to repeat them more often.
Julian bumped his shoulder against Enzo's.
—Deal.
And, as they left the stadium together laughing at anything and everything, the two felt that, no matter where football took them, they would always find their way back to each other.
