The evening after their walk greeted Sunghoon with a deafening silence that left an unpleasant ache in his chest. Yet just an hour ago, everything had been perfect. The couple had decided to take a stroll before bed to get some fresh air. They leisurely walked in circles around their courtyard, chatting about all sorts of nonsense, and every now and then hiding in deserted, unlit alleys to chuckle and peck each other on the lips.

The atmosphere was shattered by a common trash can at the edge of the playground. Walking past, Sunwoo noticed what appeared to be a very lonely and sad pigeon lying on the pavement. Kim immediately melted and resolved to take the poor thing home at any cost. But as soon as the omega carefully picked up the bird, Sunghoon literally exploded. Park loudly scolded his boyfriend, sternly ordering him to immediately release the filthy pest and march toward the entrance.

And now Sunwoo was sitting defiantly on the very edge of the sofa, staring at his phone and completely ignoring the alpha's presence in the room. Sunghoon, unaccustomed to such cold, was literally torn by the prolonged isolation. He longed to recapture his omega's warmth, so he moved closer and sighed guiltily.
