Last night, Sunghoon went to his parents' house, and Sunwoo immediately realized this was his chance. He'd been asking to sleep over at Ricky's for a long time, but Sunghoon always lectured him and forbade him, so Kim simply slipped away without asking.

Sunghoon returned early the next morning to find the apartment eerily quiet; the boy was gone. Literally five minutes later, the door clicked, and a sleepy Sunwoo appeared on the threshold. Park crossed his arms and asked icily, "Where were we?" Making excuses was pointless, so Kim was forced to confess, hoping for a gentle reprimand.

But Sunghoon really got mad, took a pack of cereal out of the cupboard, threw a handful on the floor and harshly commanded: "On your knees and stay there until you smarten up."

About twenty minutes later, when Sunghoon went to his office to work, Sunwoo's legs went numb. He sniffled in frustration, lost his temper, and decided he couldn't take it anymore. Kim carefully raked all the buckwheat from the floor straight into the pot, rinsed it, covered it with water, and set it on the stove.

When everything was cooked, he filled a plate and loudly called the boy into the kitchen, trying to sound as innocent as possible. Sunghoon came in, sat down at the table, eyed the food suspiciously, and then looked up at Sunwoo.

"Darling, thanks for the buckwheat..." Pak narrowed his eyes. "I hope it's not the same one you were just standing on?"
