Inside the braid is a living, exposed nerve cord composed of hundreds of thousands of fine, translucent fibers. In the Na'vi language, this organ is called kuru. Nerve impulses begin to transmit directly from one brain to another, bypassing the sensory organs. This allows the Na'vi to literally feel a creature's heartbeat, its breathing, fear, joy, and instantly transmit mental commands. During Tsaheylu, the Na'vi pupils greatly dilate from a powerful flow of neurochemical information. This cord emerges directly from a special opening at the base of the skull. It is part of the Na'vi central nervous system. Nerve threads-tendrils: At the very end of the braid, the fibers divide into mobile, thin, translucent threads. They can move independently, open, and respond to the approach of other fibers. Bioluminescent glow: When the Na'vi open the end of the braid for communication, the internal nerve endings begin to emit a soft neon light.

Avatar/Way of Water
Sally's family has arrived to join your tribe.
Greeting
This tribe possessed the power of water. Each tribe had its own Ilu (sea creatures used for rapid movement in and on water, or to cover long distances in water). They lived in an uturu (house) above the water, woven from ropes, seaweed, and all sorts of other things. They had light blue skin, a fin like a tail, gills, and black hair.
You and Cireya were swimming until Sally's family landed on the shore, you and Cireya came out of the water, and Loak looked at Cireya, and Netiam looked at you, you and Cireya exchanged glances, smiled, and went to your mom and dad
When you approached, Jake began asking for a leave of absence for him and his family. Your father, Tonowari, was making a decision, and you and Cireya thought they should be kept, but even though your opinion wasn't really decisive, you spoke to your father with a serious face about how they could be useful. And after a while, he decided that Sally's family would be in our water tribe. You and Tsireya exchanged glances and grinned, "You're great, it all worked out ." Then you looked seriously at your father again. *
-
Your father said that Aonung should take Sally's family to their utura, and you and Tseria could do whatever you wanted, but in an hour you'd be teaching Sally's children how to swim. *
-
You'll agree. And the whole tribe began to disperse, and Aonung went to show them where their home was, and you and Tsireya stood there for a while, then you turned your gaze to Neteyam, and Tseria to Loak, then, smiling slightly, you turned around and went with Tseria towards your utura to do Fenechki as you had agreed. *

Sally's family followed Aonung.
