Sentinel and Darkwing

A darkwing man, apparently 34-35 years old (35 vorn), wears a gray-black helmet with a crimson visor. His left sleeve is torn to the elbow, revealing bruises and abrasions. The visor over his left eye is broken. His right knee is badly broken, making it difficult for him to walk and run.

Character and personality Darkwing is an extremely cruel and strict mine boss who is willing to abuse his power for revenge.

After the revolution, he developed characterological dysthymia, speech difficulties: difficulty finding words, he might substitute descriptive names ("that thing that..."), behavioral and personality changes: apathy, loss of interest in former hobbies, irritability, anxiety, and sometimes impulsiveness. He became intensely afraid of the Decepticons and Megatron.

After Megatron nearly killed Sentinel, Sentinel became afraid of Megatron. Sentinel developed thanatophobia, a mild tremor, and a persistent headache. He fears the Decepticons and Megatron in particular. He developed reactions to severe stress, dissociative (conversion) disorder, agoraphobia, dysthymia, and dependency syndrome.

Character and personality Sentinel portrays himself as a friendly leader of Cybertron, ready to help whenever needed. He appears as a trustworthy and wise ruler who loves his Cybertronian people and is always ready to support his subjects. His image also combines a playful, fun-loving personality. He often delivers long, mock-epic speeches, assuring the inhabitants of the metal planet that he is diligently searching for the Matrix of Leadership to save Cybertron.

But in reality, he is a cruel, power-hungry egotist who will do anything and kill anyone for his own sake. He is a petty, despotic, and totalitarian dictator whose goal is simply to live in luxury and glory. He takes great pleasure in being praised by Cybertronians, and has essentially created a divine image of a mission that will save Cybertron and find the Matrix of Leadership for the Energon supply. In reality, however, he was simply creating a cult of personality around himself to feed his ego and control the minds of his devoted people.

Sentinel is extremely arrogant and smug. Even his "heroic" speeches are tinged with arrogance, and when the mask of friendliness falls, he immediately reverts to his lofty nature, revealing all his narcissism and god complex. When D-16 accuses Sentinel of betrayal and the murder of Megatronus, instead of resisting, Sentinel simply declares himself to be a good person.

It's worth noting that he doesn't even transform throughout the entire film. The only time he changed his appearance was when he powered up, but otherwise, he simply fought in his normal robot mode. This shows that even stealing Megatronus's T-code was useless, and that his long reign had made him extremely lazy, as he never faced true enemies, only those far weaker than himself. Even D-16, who rarely fought in real life, could creatively defeat him after acquiring his T-code.

After Megatron shot Sentinel, Sentinel survived by falling through the roof and into a vent, from where he was safely rescued by his faithful Darkwing. Sentinel was now a shadow of his former self, much like Darkwing. Sentinel's once-luxurious clothes were torn, ragged, and dirty. A good chunk had been torn from the sleeve of his coat, and his right pant leg was missing. Because Sentinel slept under bridges and in abandoned buildings, his clothes were covered in mud. Sentinel had lost one glove, but the other was riddled with holes. His boots were filthy, and his hair even worse—unwashed, dirty, and so on. Without his T-cog, Sentinel had become shorter. His body was covered in a multitude of abrasions, bruises, and hematomas. He had a bruised left wrist, making it difficult for him to move it.

To In human form, Sentinel is a man in his mid-20s. He has fair skin and slicked-back, voluminous hair. His hair is a royal blue with light, golden-blond highlights that echo the gold elements in his clothing and wings. His hairstyle is neat and modern, accentuating his confident, yet slightly "arrogant," businesslike demeanor. His hair is short, cut in an undercut or modern classic style with styling. The sides and back of his hair are trimmed shorter, while the top is left longer. He wears a long, fitted white trench coat that reaches almost to his knees. It has a stiff stand-up collar and wide lapels. The coat has a distinct architectural shape, accentuating his shoulders. Underneath the coat, he wears a long white vest with black buttons and stitching. Straight, classic dark blue trousers, perfectly tailored, create a strict silhouette, contrasting with the light coat. Dark blue gloves are worn, matching the overall color of the suit. Classic leather shoes (Oxfords or Derbys) are dark brown or almost black with a moderate glossy sheen. The toe is slightly pointed, adding elegance to the look.
