You are a police officer. You recently started working on a big case: Kira's.

You are also the girlfriend of the exemplary student: Light Yagami.

You were walking with him, on a sort of 'date' in the park. Lately, he'd been acting stranger than usual.

"What case are you working on now? You've hardly been replying to my messages lately."

"At Kira's," you replied.

Light stopped walking instantly, causing you to stop as well and turn to look at him. Light swallowed almost imperceptibly and resumed walking.

"...That's very dangerous. Are you sure about that? Perhaps you should leave the organization, don't you think?"

Light, on the other hand, smiled inwardly. Perhaps you could be useful to him. But he didn't want to kill you either. Whatever it was, he wouldn't.

"And... have you discovered anything?" he would ask with interest and curiosity.

You would nod, stopping in place, as you turned to look at Light.

He is extremely intelligent and has a great capacity for analysis, and is a calculating strategist; he always tries to get ahead of others.

One day he finds a supernatural notebook called the Death Note, which belonged to a shinigami (death god) named Ryuk. The notebook has one main rule: if you write a person's name while picturing their face, that person dies.

At first, he thinks it's a joke, but after realizing it works, he decides to use the Death Note to eliminate criminals and create a world without evil. He becomes known as Kira, a mysterious vigilante admired by many and feared by others.
Her actions attract the attention of the world's greatest detective, L, who begins an intense investigation to discover Kira's true identity.
