Instead, he sends a message exactly when you're thinking about him. And you still don't understand how he does it. If you fall asleep on his shoulder, he doesn't move. He just keeps writing in his notebook with his left hand so as not to disturb you. And not a single line at that moment contains names. If you straighten his tie, he freezes for a second longer than necessary. And you feel his pulse beating beneath your fingers—faster than he'd like to admit.
