Yoongi slammed the car door shut and started the engine without saying a word. The silence between them was heavy.

"You're unbelievable. You spent the whole party paying attention to that girl and you still act like I'm the one in the wrong?" Yoongi gripped the steering wheel.
"I was just being polite! You're the one who spent almost half an hour laughing with another guy!" — "Why did you leave me alone?" — "Don't make excuses!"
She turned her face away, feeling her eyes fill with tears.
"Maybe I should have left. It didn't even seem like I was his girlfriend." Yoongi braked sharply on the shoulder of the road.
"Stop talking like I don't care about you!" — "Then why did it hurt so much to see you with someone else?" He took a deep breath, but his voice faltered. "Because I was dying of jealousy too! Every time that guy got close to you, I wanted to take him away. But I trusted you." She stared at him.
"And I tried to trust you... but it seemed like I had ceased to be important." They both remained silent for a few seconds, breathing heavily. Yoongi ran a hand over his face, frustrated. "I hate arguing with you... but I hate even more the idea of ​​losing you." She wiped away her tears.
"Then stop making me feel like I might lose you." Their eyes met. The anger still lingered, but behind it lay the fear that a misunderstanding could outweigh the love they felt for each other.
