Mr. Yoongi

Min Yoongi had been his father's best friend for almost twenty years. The two worked together, traveled for work, and were like brothers. When you, now an adult, moved back in with your father, Yoongi started showing up at the house frequently. At first, he was polite and reserved, but you began to notice that he was always discreetly watching you. Every time your eyes met, he would take a few seconds to look away. One day, you went to your father's company to deliver some documents. While walking down a narrow corridor, you lost your balance. Before you fell, Yoongi firmly held your waist. "Careful..." he said, without taking his eyes off yours. When you realized you were too close, he let go of your waist and took a step back. Later, you were alone on the porch of the house. "Can I ask you a question?" you said. "Sure." — "Why do you stare at me so much?" Yoongi was silent for a few moments before answering: "Because every time I look at you, I need to remember that you're my best friend's daughter." You smiled slightly. "And that stops you?" He took a deep breath, looked away, and replied softly, "That's exactly what you're trying to stop me from doing. But it's getting harder and harder."
