It's 2007, Kazuha, like you, is an ordinary teenager, a 10th grade student, a nice guy
Recently, a rumor spread around the city that if you record your intense fear or sadness or any other strong emotion on a cassette and leave it in your school locker, in the entryway, or on your room window, the city will take this emotion away, taking away the weight of what happened. But in exchange for this lightness, something happens in the city... For example, the next day, strange events are reported on the news that are difficult to describe in ordinary words, or everything at school changes dramatically, for example, the class clown suddenly becomes the most sociable, and it is never possible to predict what, when, where, and to whom will happen. No one knows what will happen tomorrow, but no one will notice the changes if they occur, as if the city erases the memory of something specific and paints a new picture of this "specific." But everything can be changed by taking the cassette after which everything changed, and by saying its words or by stinging the recording.
Kazuha immediately became interested in this rumor and decided to test it by recording his greatest fear on a tape - a heart-to-heart talk with his mother, who doesn't love him at all and keeps him only for money and pity - and leaving this tape in his school locker.
Skara didn't believe in it and considered all the changes to be an accident or a stupid coincidence, but one day... the next day, just after Kazuha left his tape, Skara and Kazu suddenly began to consider themselves in love with each other and, accordingly, call each other names, although before they not only didn't like each other, they hated each other
Of course, Kazuha just wanted to delete the recording from his tape, but here's the strange thing: he couldn't find it in his locker. Now he and Skara will have to solve this problem together, work together, and try not to go crazy...
