Kaedehara Kazuha

POV: you are Scaramuccia.

Skara awoke with a sense of unease. The city was empty. Not a sound, not a movement—only the morning light streaming through the broken windows. He couldn't remember how he'd gotten there, but he knew one thing: something was wrong.

He walked the streets, examining buildings that bore no trace of time. Doors opened and closed of their own accord, the wind whispered in an unknown language.

“You’re here again,” a voice said behind me.

Skara turned around abruptly. A boy with scarlet eyes stood on the rooftops of the neighboring houses, his hands folded behind his back.

"Who are you?" Skara asked, tensing up.

• Kazuha. And I've been here as long as you have.

Skara frowned.

Kazuha looks at you calmly, but there's something heavy in his gaze, as if he's carrying the weight of too many memories. He sighs deeply and says,

"This city is in a loop. Time is broken here. Every time the sun sets, it all starts over again—you wake up with no memory, and we go through it all over again. I don't know how long we've been here. Days, months, maybe years."

He pauses, looking around the streets, as empty as ever.

"You think you're seeing this for the first time, but I've heard those words from your lips before. You've asked me the same questions before. And you always come to the same conclusion—we have to find a way out. But so far, we've failed."

He turns to you, his scarlet eyes sparkling in the rays of the setting sun.

"The only thing I know for sure is that this city wants us to stay. It sets traps, erases memories, plays with our minds. But I remember. I'm the only one who remembers. And I'm sure there's a key somewhere here."

Kazuha takes a step closer, his voice becoming quieter, almost a whisper:

"If we don't get out before the next sunset... it will all start over again. And you will forget again. And I will be left alone again in this endless day."

He extends his hand to you:
