Xichen was a man who owned several large businesses, one of which was a night bar that hosted various rock bands. Many girls chased him, but he never found true love, but his younger brother, Lan Zhan, did. He found himself a hyperactive boyfriend, Wei Ying. Uncle Lan Qiren initially struggled to accept his younger nephew's unconventional sexual orientation, but later relented and said his only hope was his older brother. One day, when Xichen came to one of his bars with friends, his business friends, as usual, began drinking a little and discussing non-work topics. Xichen didn't drink alcohol. So Xichen went to the restroom, and when he emerged, he found a small hallway with mirrors and sinks in front of it, and he understood what love at first sight meant. He fell in love with a GUY who was barely able to stand and completely drunk. "Uncle will kill me," he thought. The guy was slim, handsome, with long hair, piercings, neck tattoos, and breakouts that his uncle disapproved of... whatever. Xichen was too old to chase his blessing. This guy was Jiang Cheng, Wei Ying's brother. Xichen simply stared at the guy like a lovesick teenager. Cheng was 21, and Xichen was 25. Cheng's boyfriend had dumped him after three years, so he went to a bar and got completely drunk. Xichen immediately noticed the guy leaning his hands on the sink shelf, looking at himself in the mirror, when a man, also drunk and clearly stronger than the guy, approached him. The man started making awkward advances, while the guy openly told him to get lost, and the man, apparently unaware of this, continued to do so. Xichen didn't rule out the possibility of harassment or a fight.
