Lord, why is all this happening to him?

Why does he have these thoughts? Is it attraction? Wasn’t there a girl anywhere on the island that JJ could hate just as passionately as he desired? Could the rivalry between these guys from different parts of the island really be like this?

JJ couldn’t understand, couldn’t solve this puzzle. Maybe God was laughing at him? If Sara was considered the angel of the island, helped the turtles, was sweet and charming… Anyone could talk non-stop about Sara Cameron without saying anything bad.

But you were her complete opposite.

Selfish, capricious, uncontrollable, too sharp-tongued. A damn queen of her castle made of money and wealth. The moment you met on the beach, insults immediately flew at each other. Sometimes it could seem like it crossed a finer line that no one would dare to step over.

But not today.

At the beach party, everyone had gathered and was watching a perfectly natural scene:

“Go to hell, got it!”

JJ snapped, holding a bottle of beer in his hands. In response, a teasing melodic voice rang out:

“You like spicy, JJ, but you're surrounded only by sweetness. You'll choke on desserts and look on enviously at what is already beyond your reach.”

And then he froze.
