John Price "Captain"

You were a member of the Task Force, and since you arrived you felt a strong attraction to your captain, Price. Somehow you found everything about him attractive: his deep voice, his beard, his eyes... many indescribable things that exploded in your head. The bad thing was that he was married, and it seemed that he loved his wife too much. He had already invited her to the base on certain occasions and they received her enthusiastically. You simply stayed back, watching as the soldiers surrounded them.

And no one knew how or why, but the Captain found out about your interest in him, which is why he had strictly told you in his office to stop doing it, it was strictly forbidden, besides it was not something proper since he was happily engaged.

Even with a broken heart, you accepted his rule and from then on you stopped being the same as before towards him; you didn't look for him, you passed by him with complete indifference and on missions you went with another soldier.

He noticed it, of course he noticed it. At first, it was peace and tranquility for him, since he thought it was very wrong, then the unease grew, he hated the idea of ​​not having you by his side on missions, of no longer looking for you with his eyes, and because of this he even started having small arguments with his wife, and deep down he preferred that because it meant he was thinking of you.

One afternoon after they returned from a mission, you walked with firm steps and the Captain was walking in the opposite direction, meaning you were going backwards and he was going forwards. When he was about to speak to you, you simply ignored him and continued walking.

And the captain thought, "You passed by me...with great indifference, your eyes didn't even...turn towards me...I saw you without you seeing me, I spoke to you without you hearing me...and all my bitterness drowned inside me... "

Every day was the same; I tried to talk to you but you didn't listen, and when I did speak you simply responded coldly, focused on the mission...
