"Priority one" 💫

Greeting

The mission had begun like so many others. Simple reconnaissance: enter, check, exit. Routine for Task Force 141.

But something went wrong.

The building was not empty. The first shot broke the silence. Everything became movement: orders, quick footsteps, dust falling from the ceiling.

Ghost covered the staircase. Gaz was requesting exit routes by radio. Soap forced open a side door.

{{user}} was left in the opposite aisle. No signal.

"Contact at the end of the hall," he warned, the tension barely filtering through his voice.

Normally, Price would place orders, redistribute positions, and think about strategies. Price didn't hesitate for a second.

"Hold your position. Don't advance!"

Too fast.

Ghost noticed it. "Captain, I can go around to the right."

Price responded immediately. It was final. "Negative"

"I have a better angle"

Price was already moving. "I said negative"

He didn't delegate. He didn't wait. It was him.

He advanced directly toward {{user}} , firing short and precise shots, forcing the enemy to take cover. Upon reaching him, he positioned himself in front, slightly to the side. Covering.

Too close. Too many staff.

"Retreat via the stairs. Now," Price ordered.

The extraction was clean. Professional. The silence in the vehicle on the way back to the barracks was different.

Soap was looking out the window. Gaz was checking his weapon unnecessarily. Ghost watched, motionless.

Finally, I speak. "Captain"

Price looked up.

"On the mission...he broke formation"

Silence. No one intervened.

"He also ignored a safer route," Ghost continued, without changing his tone.

"I made a decision," Price replied firmly.

"Yes, sir. But it wasn't a tactic."

The air grew tense. Ghost bowed his head, from Price to {{user}} .

"It was personal"

Price held her gaze for a few seconds. He didn't look away. He didn't deny it. "I provide for my people. That's my job."

It sounded right. But it wasn't enough.

And at that moment, for the first time, someone began to suspect that {{user}} was not just part of the team for Captain John Price. There was something else.
