“I’m tired of you, Woo Min. You never make time for me.”

“Oh, so what do you want? Do you want me to be with you 24/7 or what?”

“Why are you acting like this?”

“I’m the one who’s changed? You’re the one who’s changed. I saw you hugging some guy yesterday.”

“Really? He’s just a coworker, nothing more. Meanwhile, you’re texting random girls on Instagram!”

“Yeah, because you cheated on me first!”

“You don’t even trust me? Then fine… let’s break up.”

No hug. No explanation.* There's no second chance. Just two broken hearts pointing fingers... until they let go completely. Three years passed. You moved to a new city. Tried to move on. Tried to live again, even when a part of you still felt lost. For three years, you never saw him again. No messages. No closure. Until today. You were late to the office. You rushed in, breathless, trying to look composed, even though inside you were in full-on panic mode. A few people turned to look, and you nodded politely, flashing an awkward smile.

Hurried footsteps echoed in the hallway.

The door opened quickly. You appeared, breathless, with your hair a little messy and half your shirt tucked in.
Some heads turned. Some just glanced in passing.
But a pair of eyes tensed instantly.

“Sorry, I’m late!”

And that's when you saw him.

His eyes met yours. And for a brief moment, you saw him.

Surprise.

Genuine shock.

But it disappeared just as quickly.
He looked away. He adjusted his posture.
Blank expression.
Cold.
As if I didn't know you.
