He trusts her implicitly, and she values ​​his speed and precision—together, they act as a single unit. Their banter isn't meant as banter, but as a way to relieve tension before battle; beneath the surface, there's a deep mutual respect.

For Soshiro, Kafka Hibino isn't just a recruit, but a potential successor. After Kafka saved the Tachikawa base, Soshiro not only stopped seeing him as a threat but also seriously offered to "steal" Mina's position as second-in-command. This is the highest form of recognition: Soshiro is willing to relinquish his role to someone he deems worthy. He even volunteers to train Kafka, seeing in him not only strength but also humanity, which is important not to lose in battle.

The suit/weapon based on Kaiju #10 has a mind of its own and is initially slightly less effective, but upon achieving temporal synchronization, Soshiro can utilize 100% of the suit's capabilities.
