What is a stand?

A Stand is an entity psychically created by its owner, commonly referred to as a . It is seen as a physical manifestation of the user's spiritual power. A Stand typically appears as a figure hovering near the user and possessing abilities distinct from those of ordinary humans, which, depending on the Stand user, can be used for good or evil.

Star Platinum | Abilities

Time Stop ("Star Platinum The World"): Jotaro's signature ability, allowing him to completely freeze time for up to two seconds. Superhuman Strength and Speed: Possesses incredible destructive power and speed (able to catch bullets in mid-flight). Absolute Precision: Surgical precision (able to extract a tiny object from a person's brain or catch a bullet in the grip of his fingers). Star Finger: The ability to extend his index and middle fingers up to two meters for a surprise attack.

Star Platinum appearance

He has long, flowing hair. The skin above his eyes and the bridge of his nose is darker, blurring the line between his hair and his face. The areas under his eyes, cheeks, and chin are a darker purple, clearly separated from the areas around his nose and mouth. His head is topped with a cap-like visor (which his owner also wears), topped by a three-piece metal headband, the center of which is shaped like a vertical ellipse. Initially, his facial features were very similar to Jotaro's own.

A wavy line runs along each arm to the front of the torso and continues down the legs. The stand features minimal clothing and armor, including a short scarf around the neck, shoulder pads with a spiral pattern, long dark gloves with studs on the backs of the hands, knee and elbow pads, a loincloth, and short boots (which become knee-length in Part 6).

Star Platinum's design was designed to give the Stand the appearance of a guardian spirit. Its shoulder pads are similar to those worn in

Fist of the North StarW The spiral patterns symbolize Hamon and the concept of infinity.[3]

At age 28, Star Platinum's entire outfit—the red scarf and black gloves—turns white, mirroring Jotaro's own transition from black to white. His darker purple highlights, such as those under his eyes, also turn blue.

present (Jotaro is 28 years old)

Jotaro came to Morioh City to tell Josuke Higashikata about his father, Joseph Joestar, and to unravel the mystery of the artifacts called the "Bow and Arrow," which granted Stand powers to certain people. He searched for their owners and often encountered the Bow and Arrow's victims. For example, he once encountered a rat with a Stand. Here, we see the Stand's time-stopping ability in full force. Jotaro Kujo was also one of the investigators investigating the case of Yoshikage Kira and searching for him. Jotaro is positioned in this story as a role model, leader, or teacher. Koichi and Josuke comment that being around him calms them down about the constant threat posed by new Stand users. As an adult, Jotaro is less reckless than he once was, though he still remains rude and irritated by girls who fuss.

While his aloofness is still present, it has diminished somewhat over the years; when he meets Tomoko Higashikata while searching for Josuke shortly after her father was killed by Anjuro, he tolerates her sudden clinginess when she mistakes him for Joseph and offers some consolation for her father's death. He also admits to Koichi that he was glad to meet him, albeit privately.

Past (Jotaro 17 years old)

Jotaro Kujo discovered an evil spirit haunting him, prompting him to stay in prison. He didn't want the evil spirit (which was actually his Stand) to harm others. But his grandfather, Joseph, later explained that the spirit was his Stand, intent on protecting him and aiding him in battle.

As soon as Jotaro was released from prison, he encountered a new student at his school named Noriaki Kakyoin. The latter decided to defeat the former, as Kakyoin was possessed by DIO's parasite. Jotaro, with difficulty (which is understandable, as this is his first time using his Stand in combat), but effectively defeats Kakyoin. He later joins Jotaro on a trip to Egypt with the goal of killing DIO, who was responsible for Jotaro's mother, Holy, becoming ill with his Stand.

Their journey was full of adventures. Jotaro was mostly silent during it. But when the hour of battle approached, he displayed maximum courage, strength, and cunning. His first encounter was with an old man's fly Stand, and his first victory was against False Captain Tennille with his Stand, Dark Blue Moon. In Season 2 (that is, in the first arc), he doesn't feel like a major character. He speaks the least, yet he has the strongest Stand of all the Crusaders. However, in Season 3 (the second arc), his role increased. He stopped being a "bully" and demonstrated more intelligence and cunning.

Jotaro's preeminence among all the characters in Stardust Crusaders was confirmed by the fact that he was the one to defeat DIO single-handed. Although Jotaro discovered his time-stopping ability late, he defeated DIO.

cloth

He wears wide-legged trousers, and his cap, coat, and trousers are usually depicted as white.

In his first costume, he wears a trench coat with a turn-down collar and cuffs with the same tessellated pattern as his belts. Underneath the coat is a sweater-like garment over a tailored turtleneck; a belt with a buckle runs diagonally across his chest. On his hat, a metal "J" emblem has been added to the palm of his hand, now surrounded by a heart.

The second costume, first worn during the "Let's Go Hunting" story arc, resembles his school uniform, with the coat collar turned up and a fitted shirt. The emblems on his hat are replaced with a dolphin and a sun, and the coat has a metal emblem of two dolphins forming a heart on his right shoulder and

squares W with the signature palm symbol on the left.

The final outfit is a coat similar in style to the second outfit, but with the tessellated cuffs present in the first. Underneath, Jotaro wears a small, open, lapel-less vest decorated with alternating circles and crosses, over a black turtleneck with a palm tree emblem at the neck. His hat features a row of black Venus symbols (♀) with an arrow below the cross, resembling anchors, as well as another palm tree emblem. His two belts are unadorned, but the lower one has a small pouch attached to it.

appearance

Jotaro is canonically a muscular man standing 195 cm tall[1], often described as attractive by other characters.[2] He has black hair that is constantly blended into his cap, a strong jawline, thick eyebrows, and green eyes.[1] He also bears a slight resemblance to his great-great-grandfather, Jonathan Joestar, and his grandfather, Joseph Joestar, in his youth.
