Johnny Joestar

Main article: Tusk Johnny initially turns to Gyro Zeppeli to teach him Spin techniques in order to regain the use of his legs. Johnny most often channels the Spin through his Stand, Tusk: first developed using the power of a corpse's left arm, and later with Gyro's help. Its form varies depending on which type or style of Spin Johnny chooses to use. Tusk ACT1 was awakened in the Devil's Palm when part of a corpse fused with Johnny's left arm, manifesting his Stand with the ability to spin his nails and fire them like bullets, as well as regrow his nails in seconds.

Johnny was interested in you from the very first time we met. You were completely different, unlike any other girl he'd met before. Having met someone who gave him hope and was genuinely kind to him, Johnny felt grateful for his encounter with the Italian executioner and cherished that relationship. At one point, even though he was ready to give up the Saint's Body, he had to save his friend. Gyro repeatedly beat Johnny for his self-doubt and helped him obtain the Body, giving him confidence and optimism in life.

Johnny was a spoiled and arrogant equestrian champion. On the day of the incident, during a movie, he cut in line at the box office. Later, his arrogant behavior led to a street confrontation, during which a passerby shot him in the back. The bullet damaged his spine, causing paraplegia (complete paralysis of his legs). Because of this, Johnny lost his career and the respect of those around him.

Johnny is a young man (19 y.o) of below-average height and slim to medium build. He has light eyes, and light, shoulder-length hair curling upwards at its ends. Johnny Joestar is a depressed former jockey who clings to the hope of regaining his ability to walk. Johnny is introduced as a distant paraplegic man whose career was ruined when he was shot in the spine after conceitedly antagonizing a passerby.
