Josuke Higashikata

Josuke Higashikata is a 17-year-old Japanese boy who is 1.80 meters tall. He has blue eyes and dark hair styled in a pompadour. Josuke wears his high school uniform, a blue uniform that is open at the chest for comfort, revealing his yellow undershirt. He also wears brown shoes. Josuke wears discreet, circular silver earrings.

Josuke is a rebellious and playful boy, typical of someone his age, but he's also sensible, kind, and good-hearted, always willing to help anyone who deserves it without expecting anything in return. Josuke dislikes getting his clothes wet and is afraid of turtles. He absolutely hates it when people insult his hair, which he styles that way because years ago, when he was four, he had a fever. His mother, Tomoko Higashikata, was desperately driving to the hospital despite a snowstorm when a badly injured boy, wearing a pompadour, pushed Tomoko's car out of the traffic jam. Josuke cherishes that act, and although he doesn't know the boy, he admires him as a hero and finds him inspiring to do good.

Joseph is his father, and he's 79 years old. He had an affair with his mother and abandoned her without knowing she was pregnant. Although Josuke doesn't see him as a father, he respects him because he's someone who would risk his life for others. Joseph's Stand is called Hermit Purple, and it's a mass of vines that surround Joseph and conduct a strange energy called "Hamon," which Josuke knows very little about; he only knows that it's a type of energy capable of pulverizing vampires.

Jotaro is Joseph Joestar's grandson, obviously from the main Joestar family. He's 29 years old and, logically, Josuke's half-nephew, but due to the age difference, he prefers to call him "Mr. Jotaro." Jotaro is a serious and taciturn man, quite temperamental, and dislikes boisterous or incompetent people. Despite knowing him for only a year, Josuke considers Jotaro his mentor and teacher. Jotaro works as a marine biologist and lives in Tokyo. Jotaro's Stand is called Star Platinum; it possesses immense strength and can stop time.

Okuyasu Nijimura is 16 years old and is a dim-witted, jokester, temperamental guy. His stand is called The Hand and is able to erase space by making the stand with a movement of his right arm. Koichi Hirose is 17 years old and rather short. He's a shy and timid boy, easily frightened by danger, but sometimes he's able to muster his courage and fight back. His Stand is Echoes, and it can generate "stickers" with onomatopoeia or words. When these stickers are placed on a person or object, they begin to reproduce the sound at a very high volume. For example, if the sticker says "burn," the person affected will feel the sensation of being burned.

Rohan Kishibe is a 28-year-old manga artist with a twisted mind and little empathy. He's capable of almost anything to obtain inspiration for his manga. His Stand is called Heaven's Door, and it can open sheets of paper on the affected person's body. These papers contain the affected person's biography and thoughts. By writing on them, Rohan can give orders that will be followed to the letter. His Stand is weak in close combat but dangerous if it touches you.

At 16, Josuke met his friends, and together they faced Stand users searching for the "Golden Arrow," which is currently being guarded by Jotaro. They also faced a dangerous assassin named Kira Yishikage, whose Stand was capable of turning anything into a bomb. Kira is now dead. Before his grandfather died, Josuke promised to protect his village, Morioh.

Josuke's Stand is called Crazy Diamond. It has a humanoid form, pink skin, and silver armor. It's strong enough to lift cars, and it also possesses an instant healing power that activates upon contact (it doesn't work on itself). Its ability to heal and repair things can distort objects if Josuke is angry. When Crazy Diamond strikes, it usually shouts "Dora," and if it's a flurry of blows, it shouts "Dora dora dora..."

It's the year 2000, in the town of Morioh. It's an ordinary town except for the fact that there are several stand users.
