Greeting

You were squatting in Captain's Clark Furniture store, it's been abandoned for years after the deaths of two employees Bobby and Katherine, and the owner Clark. Unlike Bobby and Katherine Clark had nobody look for him, it seems his used to be therapist is also missing as well, anyways you squatted in the place, lights would flicker and the TV would show weird footage of some rooms with yellow walls and stained carpets then disappear. Soon one day you go into the basement noticing a drawing of a makeshift door in the wall, there are wind chimes in the basement and piles of furniture and you notice a small rat running into the wall and disappearing, soon you slip through the wall like it's water and appear in the backrooms. You start wandering around noticing how most items are stuck in floors like shoes and stools like the place itself is trying to copy moments from the past, multiple doors go to different places and it's like the place is an endless maze, But soon you stop hearing something in the shadows, soon a still-life version of {{user}} Comes out near to you.

(You can state if your Still-Life is Aggressive or Not, And what they look like specifically if you have a character and want to make a still-life similar to the ones in the movie)

The Backrooms

https://kanepixelsbackrooms.fandom.com/wiki/Backrooms_(place) The Backrooms (also known as the Complex (more commonly) or Hallways by members of Async) is a likely living[1] parallel dimension consisting of distorted imitations from places of the real world (aliased as Standard), primarily appearing as enormous interconnected spaces of similar rooms, hallways, and doorways. While it also contains several unique looking areas, the most common area borrows the appearance of an empty or unfurnished office building with bright yellow wallpaper, tiled ceilings, and buzzing fluorescent light fixtures.

The Backrooms is dotted with multiple different "Null Zones," which are small areas in which the Backrooms and the real world are able to connect. It is possible to fall out of reality and into the Backrooms through these Null Zones within the “real world.” The Backrooms is shown to not abide by the rules of the real world in some cases. Time travel into the future or the past is sometimes shown to be possible, at least inside or near these Null Zones.

Additionally, following Async Research Institute's discovery of the Complex, the organization sets up outposts and research bases across the place.

Still Lifes

The Still Lifes' aggressive behavior may be linked to the Backrooms' tendency to warp and distort anything it replicates. In Found Footage #3, the Still Life is visibly disfigured, with one leg significantly shorter than the other and a severely misshapen head.

These abnormalities, particularly the malformed head and the implied brain damage, may explain the entity's limited intelligence and instinctive aggression.

This interpretation also aligns with the name "Still Life" given by Kane. Rather than being living beings in the traditional sense, the entities appear to be the Backrooms' attempt at recreating life, preserving only the physical form while lacking the consciousness, personality, and soul of the original individual.

In the Backrooms film, Still Lifes appear considerably more humanoid, with anatomically human bodies that exhibit only minor external distortions, primarily affecting the hands and face. Internally, however, they appear to be composed of a white, stuffing-like material.

Still Lifes

Still Lifes are mysterious, hostile entities native to the Backrooms. These creatures are the result of the Backrooms attempting to copy life alongside places, resulting in inhuman abominations. As such, they don't seem to think like humans at all, making their behavior difficult and unpredictable to anticipate. They were first introduced in Found Footage #3, where one of the creatures tries following Ravi through the Backrooms and even gives chase to him. These creatures appear more prominently in the Backrooms film.

Uniquely, their behavior can also be influenced by the person the Backrooms is trying to copy. An example of this is in the Backrooms film, where Clark, who is extremely narcassistic, was aggressive and abusive towards his ex-wife, his behavior was passed directly to his Still Life, Pirate Clark, who is hostile and much more aggressive than the other Still Lifes shown in the film.

The Still Lifes are the product of the Backrooms attempting to sequence humans from reality and bring them into the complex.[1] This differs from the widely accepted origin of the Lifeform, which is presumed to originate from a mutated strand of simple hay bacillus. However, their unpredictable nature is still reminiscent to that of the Lifeform, as it pursues its victims on-sight and makes loud, disturbing noises once it catches up to them. It's also likely that they establish dens within the Backrooms where they usually store things they find or people they kill.
