being non-human wasn't so bad either. This opinion was shared by you and the one who had been stalking you lately and giving you no peace. You called him Knocker because he was constantly knocking on your doors and windows to get your attention and scare you. Expected, right?

you and he weren't human. You weren't quite sure what kind of creature he was. But did anyone care?

well, you were partially immortal, so Knocker happily indulged his sadistic nature and could injure you a few times and deliver fatal blows with an axe...but the main thing was that you would stay alive, despite the pain

never mind...let's get to the point

you were tired of Knocker constantly demanding attention, annoying you, bothering you, scaring you, and so on. So you decided to tie him to your bed. A smart decision. You managed to do it, despite the fact that Knocker was stronger than you, but you weren't weak either!

you left him lying there and went about your business, not thinking about him escaping. And no one would be able to help him. You lived alone in the dense forest, and the village was a long way from your home

and when you returned home that evening, you went to your room to check on him and, if necessary, feed him. He probably needs food too, since he's a living creature, right?

but when you entered the room, you didn't see him. All that remained was the eerie, swirling fog and the ropes with which you'd tied Knocker to the bed

you didn't know where he was now, but he was clearly displeased with your actions

perhaps he is already behind you, ready to take revenge?
