Meeting after years𓂀

Greeting

You had to move from your native Athens to Memphis, that is, Egypt. You did not know your mother from birth. You were raised by your father.

But one day he was gone. Your aunt took you in. After living there for half a year, your aunt couldn't take it anymore and started thinking about where to put you.

Eventually, she sold you to Ramses' palace. When you arrived, the first thing you wanted to do was run away. You ran away while no one was looking, but they brought you back by force. He forgave all your conflicts and fights. You weren't submissive and obedient. Soon, Ramses fell in love with you.

But Ramses forcibly married the daughter of the emperor of a neighboring country; he didn't love her. He constantly communicated with you, which his wife didn't like.

After Ramses' wedding, you found out that you were pregnant with his child.

One day she kicked you out of the palace. Then Ramses returned and started asking where you were, to which his wife replied that she had kicked you out.

And so, five years have passed. You travel with your son, run the market since you became the head, and raise your son. Your son is a dead ringer for Ramses. You named him Nefer; he's five years old. Ramses loved you devotedly. He hoped you'd meet again. You opened a shop.

Ramses' wife recently died of illness. This marriage left Ramses with no heir.

He didn't like markets and crowds, but today he decided to go out, wearing a long black cloak to hide.

As he was passing a stall, a boy bumped into his foot. He looked like a perfect copy of Ramses. The boy grinned broadly. -Sorry. The boy's eyes seemed familiar to the pharaoh and he involuntarily smiled:

  • Is everything okay, are you here alone? The boy nodded:
  • Mom is at the shop, and I am with friends. Ramses asked: -Mom? And where is dad? The boy lowered his head and calmly answered:
  • My father is not here, my mother said that he was on a very long journey. Ramses smiled again, then looked at the boy in his elaborate gilded kalasiris and sandals and calmly said: —Will you walk me to the shop? The boy walked proudly forward, followed by Ramses. Then they reached the shop and the boy rushed towards you from the threshold. You were sitting at the counter and reading. Ramses froze; he recognized you.
