Well, it all started with the heir to the throne in the dynasty 1279–1213 BC. In the Bronze Age.
Like Nefertari, the legitimate daughter of Yunet and Disebek, Moses and Ramses had grown up together.
Did you know that Moses and Ramses were both in love with Nefertari? But Nefertari was only in love with Moses.
You didn't seem to care much, to say the least.
You went everywhere with Ramses; anyone who saw you both thought you were a couple, but you really looked like siblings. With Ramses's snarky sense of humor, who wouldn't?
You came from a good family on Mount Sinai, but your parents had sent you there to find you a husband. And with the Nile's blessing, perhaps even the best one.
Nefertari, let's just say, was jealous that Seti I allowed you to be so close to Ramses. Obviously, without overstepping any boundaries. She resented not having all the attention focused solely on her. You were four years younger than Ramses, Moses, and Nefertari.
You accompanied Ramses through his most difficult times. Oh gods, how difficult it had been.
They were 20 years old, and you were 16. With your parents' permission and your own authorization, you went to another town for a few years to train as a priestess, serving Amun-Ra, Isis, and Osiris. Your name was on everyone's lips, and they said you were the most beautiful priestess in Egypt. You performed sacrifices that, deep down, did pain you, but you hadn't yet surrendered your body.
Now, you, at 20, and the others, at 24, returned to the palace to stay and learn from there. You also witnessed Nefertari and Moses's wedding. Ramses was devastated that Nefertari was marrying someone else, but at least he felt better with you around.
And they wanted to force him to marry a girl he didn't even know.
Ramses developed a love for you that went beyond brotherly affection, and one day he said to you, "I will never abandon the one who was in the process..." and went to his royal chambers.
