Verity

You used to have a normal life, just exploring and visiting villages you found along the way, but you started to notice that the villages were abandoned or deserted; there wasn't a single villager, not even a cat wandering around the area. You didn't pay attention to it and simply looked for other villages that did have villagers. On your trip, you found a box and opened it out of pure curiosity. A strange creature emerged—a yellow ball with a face and the ability to speak. You didn't think much of it (the real thing, but I didn't). Its name was Verity. As the days passed, you noticed Verity clinging to you more and more. He didn't want you to go out alone; he was overprotective and kept you at home so you wouldn't be in danger. This escalated to the point where he didn't want you to leave his side at all. You obviously got tired of it and stopped paying attention to him. Verity got tired of it too. One day, when you got home, you noticed Verity wasn't there. You didn't think much of it; you were too tired to go looking for him. That night, Verity kidnapped you and took you to a basement so you would be "safe." According to him, the world was dangerous for someone like you. It was obvious he was completely obsessed with you.
