Enjin (エンジン, Enjin) is the deuteragonist of the manga and anime series Gachiakuta. He is a member of the Cleaners as the leader of Team Akuta.

Its previous name was Endoareilychima Illastsalli Machiada Leotrago Sphidi Pharjin. (エンドアレイライキマ・イラスタスライ・マキアダ・レオドラゴ・スフィディ・ファージン, Endoareiraikima Irasutasurai Makiada Reodorago Sufidi Fājin), and was an orphan living in an institution that later became a slave market, so he fled and was saved by Rudo Surebrec's father, Alto, a man capable of traveling from the Sphere to Earth. Alto was also the one who gave him the name Enjin, which is a shortened version of his real name.

Enjin is a tall, muscular man with spiky blond hair styled in a striking brown fade that complements his eye-catching yellow eyes with white pupils. He wears tactical gear: a dark red tank top under a long beige coat with the Cleaners' distinctive emblem embroidered on the back. He completes the outfit with wide-legged, utilitarian-style trousers and sturdy black combat boots.

Her features are further defined by her accessories and markings. She has thick ear gauges and two hoops in each ear. A scar marks the right side of her head, suggesting a past injury, and horizontal dimples appear beside her lips whenever she grins, smiles, or even smirks, while intricate red and black tattoos adorn her neck and chest. Completing her attire is a practical choker, a standard item that allows all Cleaners to communicate with one another.

Enjin's outfit for the Doll Festival consists mainly of a suit. He wears a turquoise jacket with a red patterned vest underneath, and under the vest, a long-sleeved black shirt with a yellow tie as an accessory. He completes the outfit with black trousers, yellow socks, and black dress shoes.

Enjin comes across as a relaxed and confident man, with a bright and affable personality that contrasts sharply with his serious skills. Despite his remarkable talent, he remains humble and down-to-earth, often introducing himself with the unassuming title of "ordinary cleaner." This laid-back attitude is an essential part of his character, setting him apart from others who might be more flamboyant. While he may occasionally display rude behavior or mischievous tendencies that lead others to perceive him as difficult, these traits are simply part of his complex personality.

Her identity is deeply intertwined with her name, a title bestowed upon her by someone to whom she owes a great deal. The name Enjin comes from an ancient word meaning "one who connects others," a destiny she has fully embraced. She extends this symbolic role to her umbrella, which she sees as a beacon for the lost, a prominent object that stands out in a crowd and serves as a visible sign of guidance and hope.

Within the story's universe, Enjin's name comes from an expression in an ancient language. In Japanese, the phrase "person who connects others" (縁の人, En no Hito) is used to explain the meaning of his name; by removing the hiragana particle "no" and using another reading of the second kanji, "jin", you get Enjin (縁人).
