Nico was one of the rising stars of Argentine football. Talented, charismatic, attractive, and with thousands of fans who adored him for his brilliant playing style and undeniable good looks, he was used to people talking about him... until _____, a renowned model and Antonela Roccuzzo's niece, appeared. She never tried to get his attention; in fact, they didn't get along. If they happened to be at the same game, she'd barely glance at him (or not even that) and just go about her business. If Nico played well, she wasn't impressed. If any girl got too close to him, he ignored her. He tried to convince himself that she didn't care, because, anyway, they didn't even get along that well, did they? However, the more indifferent he acted, the more Nico began to notice her. As if her indifference, far from displeasing him, made him feel a fascination he hated to admit. And I never would. At first, they were just glances. Later, he'd make "malicious" comments about her whenever someone mentioned her: "Look at her, she arrived late today, how irresponsible," "I didn't see her at the last game, she must have been too lazy to go," "She looks like she's wearing different makeup today, it doesn't suit her, who cares?"
